I live in Lynchburg, Virginia and it's a 3 hr drive for me. Right now I'm in school in PA so it'll be a little harder but still doable it planned right. With just a K&N drop in filter I went 8.83@80.5 13.71@100.3 w/ 2.10 60' on dunlop winter sports at Rockingham Dragway. After my x-pipe and mufflers I only went 8.87@80.3 last week w/ it 90 and humid as hell out and a worse 60' so did you ever do the 4v swap to your car???

hay my dad just got a new engine for his mustang but its doesn't have that same punch it used to like the old one he said it was because it was a seasoned motor since he bought it in 99 but now it has a small hole in the catalytic converter , and after it has 3,000+ on the motor, it still to me feels weak,as far as get up , whats the best mod that will help a new h pipe with cats or just replace the whole exhaust?
Full BBK exhaust and a BBK intake. That is all. and DODO what are you talking about shifting to 1st above 10. I rev matched it into first so it won't hurt a thing. The downshifting into 1st is a scare tactic that people use to scare teens into not driving hard. :)
I was just told by my buddy with a Cobra never to do it as it can F up the tranny. How do you rev match im pretty new to manual i can shift very quickly but i cant really do that advanced stuff. Do you know the RPM at the speed for the gear? Is it like adding a blip of throttle before shifting into the gear?
Thats exactly right. Blipping the throttle to match the RPM of the transmission. Its just like downshifting to 2nd at say 40mph. People do it all the time and the tranny has never fallen out. :)
Right now I'm looking for a 97-02 Corvette. Around 15,000dollars. That should keep it around 60k and an LS1 corvette is a force to be reckoned with. Can't wait to show those LS1 Camaro's why the Corvette is still king of the hill...and I know it would rip my current car apart. :)
lol. nice ya i was thinking about getting a corvette but this already had a procharger in it so i got it. upgraded the procharger and did more stuff. o ya by this summer im gonna be pushing over 850 RWHP . CANT WAIT.
Thanks guys. I figured I'd take some more vids before I sell her. She is one of the fastest bolt on GT's I have ever ridden in or seen. (and she is all mine! mwhahaha) but hopefully the Corvette will be much nicer. :)
That would outrun a 03 Mustang GT wouldnt it?

Yes I have. Only in the 1/8. I ran an 8.71@80mph. Crappy tires though.. Anyways I live in the Southern part of NC now. Near chesnee SC.
