  • Are here more videos of this kumu hula? If there are, please let me know =D

  • no hay mas videos de este kumu hula? xfa si hay mas diganme ;)

  • This MM category of being "precise" has changed kahiko hula to making it look like karate. Auwe! What ever happened to the traditional kahiko of graceful and soft hand and arm movements? This dance looked nice to the naive eye, but was robotic.

  • And what makes you the expert? Cause you one hula dancer? Most dancers I know, doesn't criticize other dancers. Why do you have to put down this halau? You make hawaiians look bad. This performance is maika'i loa.

  • Hula kahiko is suposed to be hard, strong, Aunana is soft, and look lovely. Kahiko is more like an ancient ritual... :)

  • do your research. apparently you know nothing. thaanks

  • everyone has their own interpretation. I don't think it looked like karate, but that's just me. It was also about a train so the movements were supposed to look abrupt at times. I think it was pretty creative yet still traditional.

  • i love it
