They have had this raccoon from the time it was a baby. Left out by his mother. If it makes it into those woods and away from the people caring for it. Its chances of survival are very small. This thing is pretty much domesticated! He has it real good with people that care about him.
we have a family of 5 raccoons in our attic. I got nothing against raccoons but when they're above my head making noises at 12AM it was time for them to go. Only problem is my mom dad and my brother are all scared because it might have rabies. So they live in the attic.
is he potty trained to go in a box or on newspapaer?

Poor thing can see the woods beyond the cage and knows he would have a great time out there.
