@aliensporebomb Nah...We have experimented with it like a using an old sounding synth. This doesnt really sound like a "mellotron" at all. For all the Mellotron stuff we are using....Mellotrons.

Thay was not what I expected from a Mellotron at all. More like a harshotron. I like it!

So what is your official opinion of the digital Mellotron?

@Cyeos I have no official opinions about anything...but so far I can I have made some conslusions about the machine.

I can carry it by myself.

It sounds great through an amp live.

Its been great to tour with for about a year.

When we have been recording now we have used the real Mellotron for 95% of the sounds. We have used it as a big soundbank or a very old sounding synthesizer. Not as a Mellotron as such.
