Got to see this in London at Wembley in July '90 -- was on my way to the box office to buy a ticket when a man came up and asked me if I had a ticket already. I thought he was scalping them, but instead he just handed me one and said, "Enjoy the show."
This reminds me, wasn't there a similar show to this called "Cue the Music" or something? It was a real wierd show Tony Slattery used to co-host and went out at 3am or some odd time in the morning?
My God was this really 1990? I remember the Seasons End Tour well, Steve Hogarth got a rough ride from the crowd at Liverpool on this Tour but he has proved to be a great Mariion singer.
No, the pane does nothing but catch the lights, it's all in the gloves! They're fitted with sensors at the end of the fingers which generate MIDI notes to control a synth / sampler. He uses a modified cricket bat these days for the same thing.
Ok, perhaps one of you can help me with this - but that pane of glass that h is playing with all through the song: does it actually DO anything? I tried to figure that out all video, but couldn't. :\

Yes, all very nice, but they should have changed their name. Marillion was Fish. Full stop. End of story. Discussion over.
