I just removed the plates (drillout) bought a 12 inch 5/16 drill bit , drilled out 6 holes in each baffel (your option) Ground about 1/16 off the edges of the end plate to let the sound out,pop rivited the plate back in place,sprayed flat back on rivits, looks STOCK but sounds GREAT no poping or backfire,just the right sound not offensive...dont understand all the cutting and buggering other videos show...tips look completly stock but louder......
my question is i have a 2009 vulcan 900lt, can this be done without doing any recalibrations to engine? also does one have any problems when it come to state inspections?

Dealer told me you void your warrenty if you drill out baffles, said slip ons were ok

I think it sounds great! I have few questions.
1. What exactly is drilling holes in baffles? Could you explain please?
2. How does it affect the performance of bike in terms of power?
3. Does it decrease gas millage per gallon?
4. Can it harm the engine or others mechanical parts?
