  • A true professional would've used 2 LPs.

  • @MadSpectro7 we might make another demo. Nick (the guy that's recording, who owns the SG) got a les pal and put the APH's in it. It sounds pretty sweet.

  • Fake that is not alnico 2 pro they are anico classic you cant compare that

  • @nachosnbeer sorry pal, i made this review with him and it is an alnico II pro

  • I have 59s in my 91 gibson Les Paul Studio, and they are sweet!

  • @AlecL15

what do you think of 59 for epiphone les paul std plus top

bridge or neck and whats the diference in sound i get

  • @StrangerPage the 59s are warmers than the APHs and they can get more distortion

  • @depaulaguitar hey sorry pal, english only.

  • 59 in the bridge and the alnico II in the neck is a pretty nice combo imo

  • love the 59 gonna buy one for the bridge now

  • @daviejtube95 they are great sounding pickups, you won't be disappointed.

  • The SG is brighter and thinner sounding. I prefer the les Paul pickups by a mile.

  • Is the homeless grunge look back in? That orange amp looks like something you picked up in Tijuana. Nothing like burstbuckers.

  • @journeyquest1 haha its not orange, it just looks it in the video. and alec has his room like a homeless person would at times.

  • Alec I just wanted to let you know that I think there is a child molestor talking in your video. If you can't figure out who this is LOOK AT THE USER NAME!

  • Ever heard of a tripod?

  • @dnauheim yeah, but it is much more fun this way. it makes it interesting.

  • Hey, nice vid :')

What pick ups were in the SG? Then doubt good :-) would you recomend them for playing hard rock/classic rock style music?

And could you give the EQ setting for your MG? I struggle to get a sound I'm satisfied with

  • @Jaccadaccasg the sg had the Seymour Duncan APH-1b Alnico II Pro's. and yes they are good for that, thats all i play. the sg is my friends guitar (the guy recording) but both of the pickups are good for rock and roll. on the clean setting i have treble on 7.5 middle on 7 bass on 4 gain on 3.5. Overdrive treble on 9, middle on 8, bass on 1.5 gain on 8. but now i have a DigiTech RP355 Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal and i use that for everything. it has a lot of options and great tones.

  • I like them both, but in a way the Alnico II Pro has got something special. The '59 is more standard rock'n'roll. I suppose with the A2Pro you can crank a tube amp getting smooth distortion. The '59 is nicer when played clean as well. I can't decide! But it's a good demo. Keep practicing...

  • @goldeneagle701 thanks, and yeah i didnt like my playing in the video i can do much better. but thanks for commenting.
