We used to travel to Salt Lake from SW Wyo just to get more than groceries ( 160 miles ) at least a few times a year. Did that for almost 25 yrs. Don't remember all the tar spots across I-80 before. I know those are covering the ENTIRE 280 mile stretch from crossing into ID from UT all the way to OR--sounds almost like driving over cattle guards every 5 seconds. :-(
