I wouldn't be surprised when Columbus, Florida, Islanders and Oilers all have like top 10 draft picks in their fourth lines and yet can't win. Also. how can anyone say that the Leafs aren't building towards victory? Our defense great, young and mobile, and thats BEFORE Gardiner/Blacker/Percy play as regulars. Our offense has a lot of depth and thats before our top prospects begin to make an impact in the NHL in Kadri, Frattin, Colborne, and McKegg. Whenever I need inspiration that the Leafs are headed the right way, I can look to Boston, a team that didn't tank and won the Cup with depth and elite goaltending but no star on offense.
