This was good. I loved the choreography and the vocals were pretty good to. Mama seemed a little like she wasn't that into it though. It was amazing though. I wish I could have seen the whole show.

wow u kno that high note for pray the last couple of secs? having two people doin it (low and high) kinda threw it off. lol im no critic but i was twelve and i actually hit that higher note. lol i almost fainted thou but i got it out! you guys did an awesome job in the rest! you killed my play with the choreography! we hardly daanced at all. but with the singing ur beat.

I've seen different ways to do the play, and this one is good.

I personaly like this song. It's fun to do, cause my school is doing this play. But ours is shorter. Lol.

Although the orchestra I feel is partly to blame for some of the comments talking about the rythme, it sounded like it shoulda been faster. Some lines were said/sung fast while others were held out longer than written in the music, like the CD <__< But that's nothing huge XD

I completly agree caitlyn. Its especially intense for the band. And then theres the fact that "His eyes open for a moment" is extremly out of tune. And almost all of the chorus is off key.

okay, so i'm in this right now and our mama is AMAZING, and watching this just makes me cringe because of the lack of intensity and character from all of the performers. they've got great vocals (minus mama), an awesome set, but it takes more than that to make a great show

It could be that the mood and style of our production is different from yours. It is hard to judge an entire show from a five minute clip. I hope you have a good time and lots of success with your production - we enjoyed ours.

@LCHStigerDrama @pietravis i agree wihtboth of u... my school recently did this play and it was amazing... the singingseemed to lack some feeling andintencity, but this is just 1 clip, and i'm not sure how many times u had done it b4 u recorded

and it is very foolish to judge a 2.5-3 hour show on 5 minutes... i still liked it

u guys had a great set (total set crew techie) but i must say.. our set was pretty cool as well... we had a working waterfall on stage... that was a fun play =)

Not to be critical, but the number of past runtroughs aren't supposed to have any effect upon the final product.

Spontaneity is an important aspect of theater, which means that the actors must perform as if it's their first time running throuhg it (except that everything is committed to memory in the final product). This is easily the most difficult part of theater, unless you have memory issues.

But it is also true that we cannot judge their final product on this1 part

wow this was a really good performance. ive been looking for a good version of this on youtube, this is prolly the best one ive seen. i wish they did more with your guys' set design and lighting though. typically towards the end, the lights sillouheuete and it looks really cool! anyway, good job!

what i dont like about this is the drums, like i said before. they made the song to up beat, i think this song should be more of a serious sound, and very powerful,the bongo drums took that away from this song. as for ton ton, i think he did a great job!

To slightly disagree with an earlier comment, I agree that Ton Ton isn't the strongest singer, but you have to remember that the guys have to sing in falsetto. All in all, this was a pretty good rendition of the song. =]

no, it was well done but Ton Ton is obviously not a singer and he's much better than the girl who "Fears for the girl and her mother as well." Papa Ge's dance of death was a very interesting touch! I even liked his "power" over Daniel. It reminds me of SADesigns version of OOTI. but the voices at the end were weak. It needed a strong finish. Please post Forever Yours!
