  • yes, that's how smalltalk goes.

  • don't worry - they are two options - you've better smoke weed :D

  • wtf?

  • Bad music and overly repetitive 3 way venn-diagrams.

  • Dan Quayle likes "raw potatoe"

  • no way this was done with powerpoint only....but awesome

  • Hahaha Santa, Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy as the first signs of religious doubt :))

    But really quite nice

  • A lesser amount of adventures taken will give you a heart full of regret. Note taken.

    Nice film :)

  • KLK

  • meh..

  • AMAzing...how was this done

  • high, definetly

  • Why is there no mention of Jessica Hagy in the info?

  • oh my god i lol'd

  • what is that music?

  • all i do is laugh. its awesome.

  • The author of this is obviously a very intelligent, although schizophrenic individual that is suffering from the positive symptom of loose associations.

  • nectar genious

  • His voice and accent sound like Ali G.

  • more like arnold.

  • @peterfaj LOL exactly like ali g

  • i think it's brilliant.

  • savage!

  • my nutsack just hit the floor and my dick has left the building.....:(

  • Great working in of Aphex Twin. Not many dare.

  • irgendwie unnötig, aber ziemlich cool ^^

  • great!

  • really great!

  • really stupid

  • stooopid

  • Aphex Twin's fixed piano provides just the right amount of bittersweetness to this presentation.

  • @Down10 What track is that?

  • Hiya .. i agree with you .. life is sweet and depressing, both at the same time. It's like that picture of old woman/young woman, you can see two pictures in one drawing, but not at the same time.

  • Brilliant.

Do not listen to the fools.

    Make them listen to you.

    D.

  • i dont understand this philosophy

  • I like the humor!

  • Very nice work!

  • This video is awesome. Hamsters!

  • hitchhiker gave the answer.. the author of this vid created the question!

  • really enjoyed this video

  • cool animation, the idea.. well

  • Fantastic!

  • Very well done. The animations are excellent, but what I enjoyed most was the balance of humor and introspection. I always enjoy something which makes me contemplate but laugh while doing so.

  • This may have saved my life.

  • GREAT JOB.

    really creative.

best video iv seen this year so far.

  • this is sweet

  • great

  • I laughed at the Pope, Art, and Dvds part

  • Fantastic take on our never ending desire to visualise the incomprehensible!

  • Woah.

  • Wow. This is some dark humor if I've ever heard it. There are really funny parts, and then there are parts where you kind of chuckle nervously and think, "Wow. Life sucks."

It basically says to you, a puppy is lower maintenance and more loving than a woman. Oh, and by the way, puppies die! Do you still want it?

  • Ok... poetry a lot for a sarcastic video.... everything is connected, even a virgin or an ice cream...

  • I remember the first time i watched this i was so high and i tought "Wow, this is so damn true" .

That was about a year ago and now im not high... but its still so damn true.

  • funniest video eva

  • I wouldn't say it's funny. But it's definitely beautiful.

  • 1:23-1:57 was the funniest part but other part were funny about the 3 types of virgins and the tooth farie being religious doupht. i think this was primarily made to make us laugh.

  • I do agree with you on that part, but I think it's primarily made to make us smile. Not necessarily laugh, because it's rather cute/adorable yet sarcastic at the same time, than laughable.

  • I liked the spam death taxes part XD

  • 'feelings, mistakes and butts, these are things we dare not bare in public' haha! :)

  • never seen anything like this...and I LOVE IT

  • WOW!!!

  • What Program Do They Use To Make This Presentation?

  • My guess would be 3Ds Max PLUS AfterEffects.

  • Brilliant!!!! LMAO with tears : )

  • this is like the 20th time ive watched this...love it

  • This is the first video I have ever seen that both touches on random subjects that are all somehow related, and is presented like a person's thoughts and mental actions in points of concentration. Very good job

  • Theory? Its just an funny stream of consciousness illustrated by graphs and what not. Thanks for posting!

  • this is just a stellar flow of seemingly stupid thoughts wrapped up intelligently. like when your idiot friend makes a terrible joke but you turn it around for him at a party and everyone laughs and he doesn't look like the douche bag you secretly hate him for being.

  • i keep watching it over and over again

    I LOVE THIS

  • OMG I watched this video and wanted to show someone.... they need better tags so we can search easier. I had to go through all my youtube entries in history to find this.... but finally got it!

  • great video... i love how he points out that the easter bunny, santa, and the tooth fairy are the beginnings of religous doubt

  • without chocolate there can be no life

  • does anyone knows what program did he use? cheers

  • lol raw potato

  • the song is made by Aphex twins but wtf is the song name? PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!

  • it's "Ruglen Holon", off the 2nd cd of Drukqs

  • Just how my mind works lol

  • Very impressive!

  • I love the part about the Pope. ;)

  • I like how it drifts so off topic.

    It's awesome.

  • wow

  • such a caliming voice

    I like ti :)

  • brilliant

  • wow. that's deep...

    but so cool!!!

  • this is the cleverest thing ever!!! and my name is mary lol.

  • This is brilliant. I agree with the guy (or girl) below me, this reminds me of Douglas Adams. Which is always a good thing!

  • Excellent! It's so Douglas Adams.

  • This should have been on Voyager. Then the aliens would know us better.

  • i totally agree with contentology. Good video, great questions, no answers :)

  • WOW, what a brilliant way to say nothing.

    i really enjoyed it.

  • Very, very good. Answers a lot of questions, brings up a few arguments I hadn't thought about before. Subscribe'd!

  • Excellent, for some reason I felt quite moved while watching this.

Excellent video, so nice to see something with some meaning on youtube rather than the likes of Chris crocker etc!

  • superb, thanks man!

  • Very Cool, 5 stars.

  • Sa aspekta moralne korespondencije, ta stvar je suvise fluidna sto nas kompaktno evocira na didakticno-eduktivni stav o fundamentalnoj rekapitulaciji.

  • That was pretty cool :D

  • He makes slightly more sense than Chef Brian.

  • Great Vid

  • Actually reproduction isn't impossible for virgins now that they have in-vitro fertilization...

  • Thats very Impressive:) nice work

  • Fantastic! Lightly witty, sublimely introspective, visually inspired. Glad I stumbled onto this.

  • a raw potato, huh?

    lol

  • That was very influential and insightful

  • 2:51 "For the Pope, Art and DVDs, reproduction is prohibited." :)

  • that was amazing. :O

  • LOL I favorited a long time ago, but I still love it (:

  • I am so glad I stumbled upon this video again! Still one of my favorites :)

  • i saw it the first day it was featured

its still awsome, keep coming back

  • Me too! I remember the first time i was like duuuude that is awesome!

  • there was a austrian tv show that was based on the same concept of linking thoughts together. it was called "sendung ohne namen". there are some clips on youtube.

  • Klasse Sache ppt? Nein, kaum zu glauben! Aber super Arbeit!!

  • hey does anyone else know any vids that are similar to this? Like the whole, linking everything together thing? I saw one a few years ago that was incredible. But anyways, if anyone knows of any, please tell me!

  • terrific ! great! 5 stars

  • awesome!!

  • Just saw this on CURRENT TV. So deep!

    :D

  • nice

  • brown eyes

is the glass half empty or half full

your universe is how you perceive it

to hell with the rules and paths in life.

  • It's awesome :)

Way too fast though... you should pause at the graphs and look and think more thouroughly or you'll miss a lot. At least that's what I experienced...

  • do we know who did this music?

  • Track title: Ruglen Holon

    Album: Drukqs

Artist: Aphex Twin a.k.a Richard D. James.

A.k.a, my favourite musician in the world. check out his Selected Ambient Works Volume 2

  • I think the beauty of the video lies within it's obviously limited literal application. Merely addressing these questions, ones we would normally consider superficial, in such an abstract way gives it looming existential value. Why a woman? It contains logic. Albeit circumstantial, it's quite perfect. =p

  • wow, that's really true

  • The Ideology is too culturally narrow to be existentially poignant. I feel like I'm peering inside a woman's head, who's trying to figure out the meaning of life, confined to fuzzy logic.

  • Ironic you say that.

  • What, like you! fool

  • congratulations, you just got the point.

  • You obviously do not understand this video, good sir.

  • You are a great example of the failure of the public education system. You should've read your "deep thinker" books instead of smoking pot. Or maybe smoked more pot, and read "deep thinker" books while high. Because now, you just look like a dumb twat in a group of intellectuals.

  • "Because now, you just look like a dumb twat in a group of intellectuals."

    Sophomoricsm

  • Circles! My favorite! This gets a 5/5 for using circles!

  • i have this as one of my favourites

    and damn it's good

    hmm...

there must be a way to indicate how special something is

    i mean

5 stars doesn't give it justice...

what happens if we had a list of top 10...?

  • Infinitely simple complexity. Fabulously mundane, exsquisitely esoteric. Damn!

  • The randomness of connections is fully represented here. Great job.

  • the people who made this are experts of human life and behaviour, and know how to express that in an animation video. thumbs up for this one.

  • BRILIANT.10/10

  • this is soo real

  • Alguien que sepa inglés podría traducirlo y triumpharía mucho

  • Traducir que?

  • Brilliant, keep it up. I dig arrows.

  • lol, this is so funny, the funniest part is from 2:50-3:17, but everything is funny in this vid

  • i don't really get it.. but my brain is a bit tired from studying for the past 10 hours.. anyone care to give me a simple version?

  • Life sucks, but it's required.

  • This is just so fckin true

  • why did this get voted down so hard? this comment is kind of silly

  • This is amazingly simple, amazingly stupid, and amazingly true.

Rock on guys, I'll check on you in the future.

  • I think everyone with an MBA ought to watch this. I near-perfect parody of contemporary double-speak.

  • That is the best thing that I have see in some time.

  • this hurts me.

  • Thank god it had a happy ending.

  • wow this is cool

  • houla cela me fait me sentir

    differente de la vie

    c'est stupefiant! ^-^

  • interesting, but not totally true

  • what is these days?

  • Oddly he is right

  • This is oddly deep man...

  • This actually makes sense. Unfortunate for those who can't figure it out.

  • wow interessant

  • this is great.!!!!

  • Life has no meaning on it's own, I have to define that for myself.

  • Awesome and hilarious, two things that not usually fit into the same circle of trust.

  • trust. trust leads to friendship and false hope. Speaking of hope...

  • Actually this might be best way to handle "life": In parts it looks very logical, and try to understood it, but still you mostly drift around. And understanding that drifting part is important, that part makes us "more than just algorithms".

Understanding that "life is semilogic drifting" which can not be totallu understood might actually be as near "knowing" as "not knowing" could be. :)

  • It's like life -

some do understand it and some just try to figure what the hack is this all about .... to say the first are older than the other is totaly untrue but there are some weak evidence for it that there migth be a soft correlation between age and wisdom ....

  • forget aphex twin, they didn't credit jessica!

  • gets better every time I see it.
