Steiner dedicated his medal to his dead wife that was really touching. Someone who calls that pathetic surely does not know what it means to lose a beloved person.

I like the song but I don't get the connection to the world's strongest man and his late wife. I have always thought of this song as a Christian song saying that "God" is the one powering the singer and/or main character of the song and not a deceased loved one. But then I can also see how a deceased loved one could motivate a person to become a champion. And I guess weightlifters do raise weight up overhead.
God, I hate how beautiful moments like this can be ruined with really, really shit music. The drama of Steiner winning was beautiful in itself...it doesn't need any sickening, sugary music playing over it.
