Hey the cobra bumper looks crazy and I am thinking about doing this to my interceptor. So when u cut off the crown vic bumper do u just chop off the whole part right above the molding and then just take the cut cobra bumper and epoxy and sand?

These also had full front beach seats, carpeted floors and a CD player if so ordered. For someone who claims to know CVPIs, you dropped the ball on that bit of knowledge.

I'm surprised there aren't projectors for Crown Vics, though; if there are any, you should install projectors for your HIDs. Looks excellent with the Mustang wheels.

@sanco2k05 the computer is programed for a more aggresive shift and is tuned dif than a civilian vic. and some P-71 models have dif gearing than a civilian vic for a higher top end..
@tsjkj not exactly a "different" tune, its far from a performance tune so its really nothing to brag about, like you said its mainly to adjust shift points and thats it. the gear for P71s is available either as 3.27 or 3.55, both of which are available for the "civilian" versions depending on trim. either way, the regular and police versions are not all that different.
@diaz4sho well if you think about that for a sec. its not the car that outlasts you. its the driver..the police package is heavier to compansate for that they need better and HD options. and yes anything with that type of package (Heavy Duty is a) a better suited for a chase..

@sanco2k05 hey, sleek ride buddy, i got a vic myself and have just done the basics to the car, currently redoing the interior but could i ask what was your supplier for the parts under the hood, tires and rims? theres not much to get up here in canada , all the vics are still on the road and not in the yards..... know what i mean?
@03vicBlack ebay will get you most of the items. the rims i have on the car right now are 2010 mustang rims. you can use any mustang rims 05+ for 03+ vics and 04- for 02- vics.
its a shitty paint job, i hate it. i mean its not bad for 800 which included door jambs, the hood and the trunk. but its not up to my standards. i would spend an extra grand and get it done right the first time. so about 2000-3000 for a paint job that is done right is the cost.

So I thought I would only tell them "four door sedan with a v8" and that would shut them up but not give it away and right away their like "crown vic?" and I'm like "F***!". :P
Like I'm not a huge car nut I dont know how many v8 four door sedans there are but its just crazy to me that this random person just nailed it...
I'm hopefully getting a vic sometime this spring if my finances work out the way i plan.
I'm hoping I can get one that's already black and has two spotlights, but I can settle for one.
Then ill add a nice front guard, (non red /blue) lights, custom exhaust, engine upgrades (or replacement if I can afford it), and maybe if I have any thing left over ill get a sound system.
Nice fucking transformation dude... I prefer the stock vic rims (0:25) with or without the silver /chrome trim (0:53) and It would look better with one or two police spotlights and I'm still iffy about that cobra bumper but other then that yeah its SWEET!
Your missing one little detail though... I want to know the price this transformation cost :P

audio equipment you can find the prices for that online :D but i had my best buy discount for that, new wheels were 750, intake was 130, HIDs were 300, cobra bumper and materials i used to make it came out to be something like 400 but that price will go up, and iono there is a lot of misc costs in there...so there ya go
