  • GO VEGAN!

  • Resist, Rewild

  • AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET US FREE

  • best way to protest is group suicide

  • Thank you ever so much for making this video. I do as much as I can. I focus on peace in Jerusalem the rest of the world. Yet, sometimes it feels hopeless if I confront myself whith all that urgently needs to transform.

Thank you ever so much for what you are doing.

    Love and light Margot

  • Amazing video. Check out our upcoming documentary showing how you can get off your arse and change the world. Just do it!

  • Check out our upcoming non-profit documentary about UK climate change activists!

  • VERY TRUE !!!

  • Exactly what I've been feeling but beautifully and eloquently said.

"We need to start thinking like a serious resistance movement."

  • Agreed, Where do I sign up? Where do I go? How can I serve the greatest good of my lifetime?

  • Get up and do something about it!

    Join the Transition Towns movement.

  • Resistance? Where do I sign up? Seriously, I want to help destroy the oppressors who are killing our planet, our home.

  • PLEASE BOYCOTT BP FOR THEIR RAMPANT DESTRUCTION OF THE EARTH. SORRY THERE ARE BP ADS THAT YOUTUBE HAS ATTACHED TO THIS VIDEO. BP IS ONE OF THE MOST UNETHICAL HORRIBLE CORPORATIONS OF OUR LIFETIMES. THEY ARE CRIMINALS. THE RESPONSIBLE PARTIES FOR THE GULF DESTRUCTION NEED TO BE TRIED AND EXECUTED BY INTERNATIONAL COURTS.

  • very nice work, thanks so much! i may try and subtitle it in Spanish... best, a.

  • @SubtUtiles it would be great if you did that. can i give you a good copy of the video to work from? also i would love to get a written text if you would not mind. let me know when/if you get ready to do it and i will upload it to a file sharing site for you to pick up.

  • Good job folks,thumbs up.

  • The ice lands aren't the only major issue animals are facing. There's slaughter houses, fur farms, puppy mills etc. If you all could please watch this movie called Earthlings, you will find the truth in what people, our own species are hiding from us. It can also be viewed on my channel under my favorites. Parts 1-10 are all there in order backwards, sorry :) Please do watch this, it's better to know the truth than to be so unknowingly selfish.

  • @katGarkia15 Thanks for making Earthlings available. It's an important film, perhaps one of the most important ever made, i agree. When you say unknowing selfishness are you applying that to my video? Because I made it with full knowledge of what goes on in slaughterhouses and elsewhere just as you have made music videos without mentioning every important issue in the world so did i make this music video that deals with extremely important issues. Other than that I agree with what you say.

  • @nikkicraft Thank you, I was sure the maker of this video was most likely aware of all those problems. Music Videos also have meaning, because of lyrics. If you listen you'll hear. My favorite band The Doors wrote a lot of music related to the destruction of the world."When the musics over" really hits those points. Any way, any kind of awareness is good, because it makes you want to know more. I hope other people will start getting the message too one day. I do like this video though :)

  • enslave all humanity and save the earth

  • do you really think were all sent here to learn, and then to die ?

  • I wrote a poem about the experience. I didn't believe in god at the time but this was written in anger. "God gives life so people say but why for only one short day. No opening eyes to behold the light. Born in the dark died in the night. To give it breathe and make it sane then suck its breathe to die in pain."

  • I don't think he should have done that. He probably thought they were almost ...dead and if i could hand feed them they might have at least a chance. he told me what to do and how to feed them. I took them home and several of them died on the way in the car and i barely got them in the house and a few hours later they had all died one by one in my hands with the eye dropper. There might have been five to 8 kittens and they were only days old, if that old. ...

  • @stett99 When i was about 19 i took a stray dog to the city dog "pound" and when i went there they had some little kittens that had been left with no mother and they were about to be killed. that was back in 1969 or 70. the man just gave them to me. ...

  • I like this song and the footage is also ok :)

    Your work deserves respekt

    :)

  • @naamloos1328 thank you very much. <3

  • i betcha the 7 people who thumbed this down are fundies on accounta becuz gawd made it for us in this, our great nation, dontcha know.

  • Once again:

"The only miracle we're going to get is us." -Derrick Jensen

  • we all love nature. and were being destroyed systematically. the time of asking questions is over. the new world order is here and we have to educate eachother

  • SURE, more propaganda! SEND YOU MONEY AND MAKE US RICH! There is not a damm thing you could do if we lost all the ice, which, I beleive, will not happen anyway.......you people are the destroyers of the earth, you moronistic environmentalnazis....

  • I agree, If our childrens children look back upon our present day they'll say what the fuck! I'm not for violence , but I'm also not willing to sit on my ass, There were three kinds of people on the Titanic when it hit that iceburg, 1- Its the Titanic, It will never sink, lets go back to the bar and have a drink, 2- Panic, Fear, coming undone, 3- the remaining asked the question " how do we fix this problem, how do we lower these life boats? Education is my tool for change and I use it!

  • So, are you vegan then, cause that's the best way to help the environment!

It's great what you are doing, but if you miss the connection between our food choices and environmental destruction, you've really missed the point and action is then futile. Want to save the planet? Go Vegan!

  • yes i absolutely see the connection. If you look at my youtube playlist you will see that i have culled many videos that illustrate the nightmarish lives that factory farm animals live. Resist Do Not Comply is a *ten minute* _music_ video (with a few words of narration) that deals with militant direct action in general. At no time did i discuss tactics or individual strategies nor was that my intent when i created this video.

  • @MasterAtriedes I also see the connection, but I don't think it is about eating meat or not, I think it is about being responsable about where you get your food. For instance, you could be vegan, but still eating within the current agriculural system, eating fruit and veggies out of season transported hundreds or thousands of miles ect.. I think the true way to "eat" your way to a better environment is eating local and organic, meat can be sustainable, clean AND respectful to the animal.

  • @MasterAtriedes you are right, diet and self realisation is key, eat raw food and meditate, raise up your vibration. Perhaps one day some of the caterpillars will become butterflies, yes .. we're not just caterpillars. We need to change the way we think.

  • There is a different paradigm.. wake up...

  • it is sad though. Those bears are absolutely amazing!! I long for Alaska.

  • Great vid! Thanks for sharing.

let the truth be known, the earth has been heating & cooling forever! And I'm a firm believer that nothing man does to this planet or (will be allowed to do) can or will be completely messed up. Because God and or the controllers of the earth/life, universe won't let it happen!

Sit back and watch what 2012 brings in. I bet it won't disappoint you ;)

Keep in mind, man has came and went how many times in history? Might be time for another complete regime change.

  • I agree whole heartedly with militant action at this point. being peaceful has gotten us fairly far, but it won't save us.

We're talking about people that are happy to poison kids, skin animals alive and even assasinate those that would get in their way.

concerned letters and petitions asking them politely to stop just won't do it.

This is our one and only planet and we cant just wait for them to change and hope they do. We have to fight

  • Indeed, wildlifeden, every action, whether radical or logical, is warranted if we are to win this war that animal exploiters have waged against defenseless animals!

We must get up close and in-the-face of the animal abusers!

  • I agree wildlifeden. hi DLver. thank you for your comments and yes we do need radical and logical actions. I don't think you meant to be advocating actions that were not logical or meant to be saying that radical actions are not logical, did you? Radical actions are often the only approach that can be fundamentally logical. <3

  • Hey nikkicraft...indeed I agree with you that radical direct action is logical!

Like the video says...we've been awfully kind to the animal exploiter. It's time to get up close and in their face.

love the video and the message is on the mark!

  • Catastrophic climate change can be stopped.....we all should participate, plant the tree, use less chemicals, respect the nature and more..

  • Love this video, I'm too far away to do anything for the Animals who have to suffer he onsequences of this changing world, but i will dedicate my music to them and use them in my videos from now on..thanks for the beautiful moving video..this is an original extmpore guitar composition i've dedicated to my furry friends in the arctic.

  • I cried through the whole video, for myself, for my grandkids, for our beautiful blue planet.

  • What is the game plan for stopping a Pole shift?

What people need to worry about is the enslavement of humans with misinformation and totalitarian government. HAARP or one volcano burst will jack up the world, but by everyone moving towards a Global government with FORCED restrictions on Liberty and Freedom will not advance human compassion but exaggerate the oppression of it. Detouring us from the path of real awaking, this is a cycle to control people from becoming more concerned personally

  • scalar weapons created in part by tesla are changeing the enviroment as much as natural events, compounded with the human foot print and our impact.

  • comparison with the total duration of the temperature and

CO2 increases (5,000 years). Second, the Cer, deglaciation is probably initiated by some

insolation forcing, which influences first the temperature change in

Antarctica (and possibly in part of the Southern Hemisphere) and

then the CO2. This sequence of events is still in full agreement with

the idea that CO2 plays, througO2 increase clearly

    precedes the Northern Hemisphere deglaciation."

As Ive already explained in (1.),

  • it only shows that CO2 didnt cause the first 200 years warming (yes its probably 200, maybe even less, and not 800, see the study Loulergue et al. 2007).

  • Excuse me, typing errors in the full quote, last bit:

"This sequence of events is still in full agreement with

the idea that CO2 plays, through its greenhouse effect, a key role in

amplifying the initial orbital forcing. First, the 800-year time lag

is short in comparison with the total duration of the temperature and

CO2 increases (5,000 years). Second, the CO2 increase clearly

    precedes the Northern Hemisphere deglaciation."

  • your turn vme02

  • vanderbilt887-It seems that it's still your turn and it will remain so until you can give evidence to your claim. You've done nothing but quote the same lame study, is that all you have.

Maybe we should think like 'arvidarcher' who thinks that talking about the issue is a waste of time. Maybe we should do as we are told, of course they've never been wrong before. I remember when the gov't was saying scientists are divided on the issue of CO2, until carbon tax came out.

  • vanderbilt887-Again i say you didn't understand what you read, maybe dyslexia or some other comprehension issues. The study was ambiguous at best and contradictory to your claims, so what is it you're saying?

  • vanderbilt887-You have quite the latent in quoting, what other tricks do you do?

  • Its all on the internet, DO read it.

    7. Ofcourse the term dogma fits you well, because your responses rely mostly upon rhetoric in stead of solid arguments, facts and sources. Calling me stupid -what was it you said about attacking persons?- doesnt prove anything, no matter how hard you shout.

    8. This confirms that CO2 is not the forcing that initially drives the climatic system during a deglaciation.. There. You ARE cherry picking, you ARE quote mining. READ the paper.

  • The full quote: we obtain an overall uncertainty of +/-200 years, indicating that the increase in CO2 lags Antarctic warming by 800 +/-200 years,

which we must consider a mean phase lag because of the method

we used to make the correlation.......This confirms that CO2 is not

the forcing that initially drives the climatic system during a

deglaciation. Rathh its greenhouse effect, a key role in

amplifying the initial orbital forcing. First, the 800-year time lag

    is short in

  • vanderbilt887-Define 'orbital forcing', I'll wait while you look it up. What method did they use to make correlation? Come on, stop quoting and say what you think it means.

  • vanderbilt887-Dogma does suite you well, have you looked into what the premise of the study you love to qoute was? Have you talked to the writters? Was there grant given to prove CO2 to be the cause of climate change, even though they couldn't prove it. Are you dyslexic? Again you quoted what proves my point, thanks.

  • 1. Quit big. Do you remember the ozone crisis? What percentage do you think ozone has in the atmosphere? Its measured in parts per billion, not parts per million as CO2 is.

    2. Yes I have seen the raw data, because I have actually read the study. I still stand by my argument that youre cherry picking. Warmings take about 5000 years to complete. The lag is 200 years. The lag is 200 years. All that the lag shows is that CO2 didnt cause the first 200 years of warming, out of the 5000 year trend.

  • CO2 acts not as an initiator, but as an amplifier of the warmings. Other studies: Lorius et al 1990, Monnin et al 2001, Loulergue et al 2007. Do read those.

    3. You were the one who was challenging my authority, I was simply reversing the challenge towards you, and frankly, someone who believes in conspiracies is not someone whose opinion on climate change I find trustworthy per se. Besides, at least I quote my sources and the studies.

    4. Im not simply quoting others opinions.

  • Im quoting scientific peer reviewed studies. Why dont you? The sentence think for yourself you use as if you mean: think like me.

    5. Wrong sir, wrong. Not all planets in the solar system have rising temperatures. Only 6, Uranus is cooling (Young et al 2001). Solar activity isnt increasing either. Direct satellite measurements havent detected increase over the past 30 years (Fröhlich et al 2005). Irradiance has been steady for the last 50 years (See Max Planck Institue for Solar System

  • Research). In fact, the rising temperatures on those six planets have nothing to do with the sun, but are a consequence of local planetary causes. (Too much to get into here).

    6. How cool its been lately, at the brink of another ice age. Not very likely. What were experiencing right now is not the start of a global cooling period, but a pause in global warming. (Just like the pause in 1940-1970). The reason for this is natural variability, see the study Swanson et al. 2009.

  • vanderbilt887-Please do get into astronomy, i'm dying to hear you butcher that as well. You'd probably be wise not to argue astronomy with an astro-physicist. Have you even looked at how solar output matches temp change to a daily basis? No, you're too busy being blinded by BS. Just coincidently the sun has remained at minimum for quite some time now that it matches the cool temps. Pause? you make me laugh :-D. I wonder what you'll say if the trend continues?

  • vanderbilt887-Do you stop to think about what you write for a minute? How can climate change be anthrapologic when the CO2 you mention is not man made? Not only are you quoting the opinions of others but you quote them directly without even putting it in your own words.

Here are a few studies for you to look at:

    Dr. Sallie Baliunas

Dr. John Christy, used to be a lead author for IPCC

    Dr. Nils-Alex Morner

    Dr. David Legates

  • vanderbilt887-You can't compare ozone with CO2. One is a chemical reaction and the other is an insulator, think about it..

Wow, so you say CO2 rise lags behind temp rise and CO2 fall lags behind temp fall. A 5000 year trend of warming? What about the medieval warm period, what about the mini ice age associated with the Maunder minimum?

  • Excellent! You are right, it is too late for education only fighting might help a bit. We need strategies and alliances ! Just fools and ignorant people still deny that we are responsible for this climate change. There is no need to discuss this. But we need the decadent idiots to stop raising there voice we should rather take there money and use it for good.

Please don't give up the fight! We will meet on the battlefield.

(i love peace, but my primitive co-humans leave no choice for me)

  • i said nothing about nasa did you even bother to check the site plenty of raw data there from daily temp. to uv output foe certain areas from the last few yrs im dont disputing what your saying. i disputing how quick its happening show me evidence that climate change has happened so rapidly before

  • omgudontknow-I have full access to all this data, i just wasn't sure where you were going with it. Climate change can happen very quickly, specially when it's brought on by things we have no control over. Check into the "Maunder minimum". Just google those words and see how quickly things changed in the past. Also look into the "midieval warm period" when temps were much higher than today.

BTW are you hitting the reply, i'm not getting notification there's been a reply.

  • omgudontknow-I could give you many links, but as i stated above to 'vanderbilt887' I would rather you see the data than someone's opinion, and decide for yourself. If you find the materail interesting, let me know, we can dive into other aspects.

  • omgudnotknow-I don't see where you're going with this, we went from NASA to the European space agency. I don't rely on regurgitated opinions, show me raw data that i can analize instead of reading someone else's view; it's called peer reviewing. The fact that we had a minor warming trend is not in dispute, the cause is what we're looking for. I can also give a list of sites to visit but i haven't done that, you need to look at the facts and determine for yourself.

  • check out this site ESA observing the earth its full of great facts

  • vmeo2 if global warming or as i global climaye change isnt real explain the Wilkins Ice Shelf or the the fact glaciers are receeding at record breaking rates im no scentist but you dont need to be scientist to have common sense to see somethings not right. i have lived enough winters in canada to see things have dramatically changed.

  • omgudontknow-I said nothing about there being no warming, i said CO2 has nothing to do with it. Check our climate history and you'll see this is nothing new and temps have been much higher in the past. CO2 is measured in parts per million and the percentage in our atmosphere is 0.054%. The main greenhouse gas in the atmosphere is water vapor, it makes up 95% of the greenhouse gases. Look into solar activity and why all planets in the solar system have increased temps.

  • omgudontknow-Furthermore, you may have noticed how cool it's been lately. The sun is currently at minimum, and it's stayed there for longer than normal. We may actually be on the brink of another mini ice age (depending on the sun). The last time we experienced a small cooling trend was between 1940-70 when man started dumping massive quantities of CO2 but temps kept going down. Warming and cooling cycles are normal and there's nothing we can do about it.

  • nikkicraft-I don't take offence on the net and i welcome debate. All i'm after is truth and responsible action. You seem to have a great deal of energy and i just think if you directed that energy in the appropriate direction, it would be more constructive. BTW my energy consumption is very low. I use solar panels, solar water heater and wind power. I also drive a partial hybrid i built myself.

  • these threads are so messed up i can't even follow them so forgive me if i didn't reply to something. thanks for the exchange. I'll check back again to see where it all goes.

  • Hell, I'll answer your questions anyway:

    1. The unit of measurement of CO2 in the atmosphere is ppmv (parts per million by volume) Are you implying anything?

    2. That is plain false. I hope you don't get your information from 'The great global warming swindle'. It's called cherrypicking, it's taken from the study 'Timing of atmospheric CO2 and antarctic temperature changes across termination 3' by Nicolas Caillon et al. The 'lag' shown is caused by orbital factors.

  • The study also says: 'This sequence of events is still in full agreement with the idea that CO2 plays, through it's greenhouse effect, a key role in amplifying the initial orbital forcing' and

'Finally, the situation at termination 3 differs from the recent anthropogenic CO2 increase (..) we should distinguish between internal influences (such as the deglacial CO2 increase) and external influences (such as the anthropogenic CO2 increase) on the climate system.

  • 'Although the recent CO2 increase has clearly been imposed first, as a result of anthopogenic activities, it naturally takes, at termination 3, some time for CO2 to outgas from the ocean once it starts to react to a climate change that is first felt in the atmosphere.'

'The sequence of events during this termination is fully consistent with CO2 participating in the latter 4200 years of warming. The radiative forcing due to CO2 may serve as an amplifier of initial orbital forcing, which is then

  • further amplified by fast atmospheric feedbacks that are also at work for the present day and future climate'

    3. Also not true. You are getting your data from that lousy documentary arent you? It's false data from a heavily deliberately distorted graph from NASA. Look at the real graph from NASA, and what happens after 1980.

    4. Check ww(d)ferdinand-engelbeen(d)be/klimaat/co2_measurements(d)html

To long a story to tell here..

    5. Water vapour, your point being? Are you really a scientist?

  • 6. Yes there have been a couple of scientists leaving the IPCC because of disagreement. As far as I know, only Paul Reiter has threatened the IPCC with legal action, after which they have removed his name. So? Their have also been scientists critisising the IPCC for underestimating the dangers of global warming, and not including extreme scenarios in their reports. That's natural, this is called a scientific debate, as a scientists you should know that. There is no such thing as dogma in science

  • FACT is that the IPCC is supported by a majority of scientific organisations/academies worldwide, including, but not limited to:

the joint science academies, Canadian Foundation for Climate and Atmospheric Sciences, Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society, European Geosciences Union, National Research Council (US), Network of African Science Academies, Royal Meteorological Society, Geological Society of London etc. etc.

Does this make me look stupid? Do your research! Think !

  • vanderbilt887-Being supported by organizations means nothing, what about individual scientists? There a many in all the organizations you listed that don't agree with the current dogma (thanks for bringing up the term, it fits well).

Looking stupid is a job you do well. But thanks for giving me a platform to get this info out, hopefully some people will take a closer look and decide for themselves.

  • vanderbily887-If you 're going to go around spuoting that governmental organizations are solid foundations, then you also believe that the FDA is there to keep you safe.

On that note, lets see what the FDA has done; approved aspartame, after there top toxicologist Dr. Adrian Gross (1980) testified to congress that aspartame caused tumors and brian cancer in lab animals. Shortly after he was fired and the FDA approved aspartame. I could go on but what's the point.

  • vanderbilt887-Scientific dogma is created when the establishment becomes corrupted by the corporate structure and greed for easy money (grants). Have you checked the qualifications of every name on the IPCC?

  • vanderbilt887-Like i said i've read the report, you don't have to keep giving me someone else's words. You are very good at that aren't you? The question remains can you think for yourself?

  • vanderbilt887-Bravo, you can quote someone else's words. Here's a quote from the same report: "This confirms that CO2 is not the forcing that initially drives the climatic system during a deglaciation."

The questions is did you understand the report? Did you also look into what the initial premise was, as in what were they out to prove, did they have a goal to meet?

  • vaderbilt887:

1-yes i am, what effect can a gas that makes up 0.054% of the atmosphere have on climate?

2-How so false? have you seen the raw data, have you talked to anyone doing the studies. As far as cherry picking goes, you should be the last to talk as every word you write is someone else's opinion. Are you sure that the data comes only from Nicholas Caillon's study?

  • Comment removed

  • No I don't simply believe everything I'm told, I go with the evidence as much as possible, but because I'm not a climate scientist, I am forced to also rely on authority. The question then is, what authority? The authority of tons of scientific organisations and academies around the world who agree with the basic conclusions of the IPCC. Why? Because I know that their method of acquiring knowledge is the most reliable: the scientific method, which you simply dismiss here as 'propaganda science'

  • However, what is your authority? If I check your website it becomes clear to me that you believe that:

    a. 9/11 was an inside job

    b. the true rulers of countries are 'illuminati, skull and bones members, the new world order' etc.

    c. 'they' poison our air with chemtrails, our food with aspartame etc.

And I could go on. In other words, your a conspiracy lunatic.

What's really going on is that propaganda is being spread (Exonnmobile) to insure that global warming isn't going to be heard and

  • responded to. In their own words:

    'Victory will be achieved when:

"Average citizens [and the media] 'understand' (recognize) uncertainties in climate science recognition of uncertainties becomes part of the 'conventional wisdom''

    and

"Those promoting the Kyoto treaty on the basis of extant science appear out of touch with reality"

    see:

    ww (dot)edf(dot)org/documents/3860_GlobalClimateSciencePlanMemo.pdf

Don't think that I do not think for myself, simply because I do not buy your arguments

  • As for all of your questions, if you actually had taken the effort to check out the sources of the 'fools' (mostly scientists and scientific organisations) I've cited, you would be perfectly able to answer them yourself in an honest manner, that would actually have some correspondence with reality, and not what takes place in your head.

  • vanderbilt887-If you thought for yourself, you wouldn't be giving me websites with someone else's beliefs or views.

I'm late in answering because i didn't get notification of your replies, i just read them now.

  • Comment removed

  • vanderbilt887-Are you talking to me? Well lets get into it, do you have any ivedence to the contarary, as i have plebty of evidence to prove my point. Stay on the topic and answer the simple questions.

  • vanderbilt887-Like all propagandists you feel the need to attack someone's character rather than deal with the issue. It says a lot about who YOU are and how weak your facts are. However, if you want to go down this road, you're more than welcome, it's very obvious your research in this department is as flimsy as any. I have nothing to hide and i state my views very clearly and openly.

  • my sensi once asked is the death touch real. do i believe it is NO but i learnt how to defend myself on the off chance that it is. Same goes for global warming change your thinking it may change the way you feel. would you rather believe and find out later it wasnt true or would you rather not believe and find out to late it was. this isnt a scientific question its a question of survival. im erroring on the side of caution.

  • row row row your boat down a oil slick stream see the fish belly up nothing's what it seem.oil companies profitting from all our misery so row row row your boat down a oil slick stream.

  • This is really well made. The footage you managed to get is breath taking.

  • Thanks. That means a lot to me coming from you.

  • Awe, shucks. :)

  • When is there going to be any real evidence of CO2 causing any global warming? Please don't give me any of Al Gore's rhetoric BS.

Don't get me wrong, i'm all for clean air and clean water. However, the scientific evidence that global warming is NOT caused by man made CO2 is overwhelming.

Instead of hitting the thumbs down or ranting angrily, please provide some proof of this claim. I've yet to see any evidence that holds up to the light of day.

  • check out the video's of youtube users

    potholer54 and greenman3610.

also check out the reports by the ipcc (a scientific intergovernmental panel consisting of hundreds of experts that objectively evaluate peer reviewed studies to assess the risk of climate change)

    check out climate(dot)pl(dot)nasa(dot)gov

    (dot)nature(dot)com/climate/index(dot)html

    (dot)istl(dot)org/01-fall/internet(dot)html

  • vanderbilt887-Again i say where is the evidence?

IPCC-wow a governmental panel put together by the UN. How about some independent studies that show CO2 has absolutely nothing to do with global warming, supported by over 30,000 scientists. What about all the scientists that the IPCC lists as part of their panel who have to threaten with legal action before their names are removed from the list? Here's one scientist that's not convinced.

  • the 30000 scientists thing is bullocks, as I've said, check out greenman3610's video's, he covers that

The IPCC IS a credible organisation, but even if you don't want to go with them, check out the other sources.

    Pleasure helping you out...

  • vanderbilt887-30,000 scientists is bullocks? I better run and get my name off the list then. On what do you base your assertion that the IPCC is credible? Do you have any personal expirience with them? Or do you always accept what you're told?

Why are you accepting the opinions of others and using that to coerce people into believing propoganda? What does some fool's video's have to do with real science?

  • also check out:

    globalwarmingart(dot)com/

    aip(dot)org/history/climate/

    ncdc(dot)noaa(dotgov/oa/climate/globalwarming(dot)html

and the wikipedia page about climate change and global warming, and all it's sources

    usliberals(dot)about(dot)com/od/environmentalconcerns/a/GlobalWarm2(dot)htm

    That should get you started!

  • vanderbilt887-Allow me to get you started on thinking for yourself. Try answering these simple questions.

1-What is the unit of measurment for CO2 in the atmosphere?

2-Why do ALL ice core samples show CO2 rise lags behind temp rise by 200-400 years?

3-Why is it that temp's were dropping between 1940-1970 when mankind was pumping out more CO2 than it ever had before?

4-Why is it that decaying vegetation puts out more CO2 per year but you don't know about it?

  • 5-What gas is the most abundant greenhouse gas in the atmosphere and what is it's percentage?

6-Why do dozens of the so called IPCC scientists have to threaten legal action before the UN takes their names off the list?

These questions should get you started on thinking for yourself, you are going down a road that will make you look like a fool very soon. If you want to clean up the air and the water, that's great but don't bring propaganda science into it.

  • vanderbilt887 showed you the what for. now what do you have to say about it? You say you are all for clean air and water and if so you are totally on the wrong side of the argument. So instead of going off to the next youtube page and pooh-poohing global warming why don't you read the links vanderbilt887 has supplied you with and then come back and tell us what you think?

  • nikkicraft-I will say it again, i don't need the opinion of others, i need to see the raw data. I am fully able to analize the data for myself. I have reviewed more data than most and there is no evidence wharsoever that CO2 is responsible for climate change. The main source that drives our climate is that big yellow thing in the sky. Check recorded solar output to see how closely it matches temp. changes. Check ice core samples that show CO2 rise lags hundreds of years behind temp. rise.

  • nikkicraft-Furthermore, please check the qualifications of those on the IPCC list. You'll find that many are not even scientists much less climate scientists. The IPCC is a complete joke, since when have you been so gullible? Nothing like a group think or mob mentality. How deeply have you looked at the opposing side of the argument? If you like watching movies then watch "The Great Global Warming Swindle". It actually has real science in it from credible sources. Please look at all the facts.

  • i don't need any scientists to know the environment is drastically f*cked up. There is no air to breathe in the city i live in. Drastic measures need to be taken and that does not mean just "consumer" responsibility, that means a complete upheaval of everything. I don't know how much of this is government manipulation but i would imagine quite a lot of it.

  • I don't know about C02 levels but I do know that anyone who advocates that we can keep things as they are and not stop the people who insist on starting wars for oil and driving their SUVs is a fool. I don't call this global warming, I call it catastrophic climate change and as that video says if i weight what if you are wrong then like nuclear energy the risk is just too great to take, from the information that I had access to, and I do go out of my way to find information.

  • About me saying for you not to just flit off to the next website. it's obvious you are not just trying to justify your consumption habits, you deeply believe in what you are doing, you are nobodies chump and tho I don't know if i would agree with u if i had access to all the information i probably should have to have jumped into this argument, I do apologize for that uncalled for remark.

  • nikkicraft-CO2 is the only thing that 'THEY' claim is responsible for global warming. How is taxing the poor masses going to solve anything. That only means that the rich along with corporations who can afford the tax will continue to pollute. Are you aware that Al Gore's carbon footprint is at least 15 times bigger than the average Americans? I guess he figures that he can afford his so called carbon tax. Look deeper, but don't use the poor polar bears, they'll be fine.

  • I don't know what you mean don't use the poor polar bears they will be fine. It doesn't look like they will be fine and do you really care if they are? I can't tell by what you just wrote. It's predicted they will possibly be extinct in the next 30 years. Do you have information that shows that to be a government lie too? The situation of the polar bears looks pretty dire to me.

  • I know all life on the planet is at risk and much life is going extinct. But hey what we created here is a ten minute video and it's not meant to include every idea in existence. What is your exact point in connection with the video that you are making. Does it even relate to the video?

  • I agree with going after the corporations, i always have done that, and there is nothing in the video that precludes that, quite the contrary. so summarize your main point, if you would not mind in connection to our work here and our video and I will consider it.

  • We did a ten minute music video to raise awareness about direct action tactics, most likely which will be against corporations, with radical activists. Humans are destroying the planet, that's pretty obvious, and that is what we are saying. I could be wrong but from what I remember the only cause I think we mentioned in the video is general and specifically agriculture and civilization in general. Can that even be denied?

  • nikkicraft-You are falling prey to the propaganda machine. What better way to get people to pay attention to their agenda then to put cute polar bears and seals in front of you. What they show you has been going on for hundreds of years. They tell you this is something new but it's not. It's easier for scientists to get grants when they throw global warming into their applications. These scientists are not very well regarded by thier peers.

  • nikkicraft-All i'm saying is CO2 has nothing to do with global warming, otherwise called climate change.

I absolutely agree that the air quality is bad and getting worse. I also believe our water supply is being polluted. What the mainstream media wants along with the powers that be is to tax you for propaganda purposes. What you should concentrate your energies on is the global corporations that are responsible for this pollution.

  • Ecofascism, it's the new cool.

  • "Fascism," like countless other terms in our Orwellian society, has been twisted, inverted, and rendered mostly useless. It originates with Mussolini. And he defined it explicitly as the total merger of state and corporate power. It is real fascism, and the culture of which fascism is a core ideology, that these brave activists oppose. If you choose to sit in your armchair and condemn them while the community of life is murdered, that is your choice. I hope you will wake up and resist.

  • Read Julius Evola, he was a politcal philosopher who pioneered much of the ideology of the Italian fascists underneath Mussolini, as well as ecofascism. It's nothing new, but it's acceptance is, hence, ecofascism is the new cool.

Trust me I am for anything that will accelerate the destruction of the current structures of power which rule over us.

As for armchairs, I don't know, but passing out leaflets isn't going to accomplish anything.

  • Interesting, Bacchusism. Not what I expected. I will look into Evola. Nonetheless, I think Mussolini's definition of fascism is definitive, and it's pretty clear that Craft, Keith, and Jensen are as anti-corporatist and anti-statist as can be. I have not had the honor of meeting Ms. Craft, but I know the other two, and they are firmly against coercive hierarchy, corporate or otherwise. What is fascistic about resisting the fascists?

Finally, who said anything about leaflets?

  • Neither of my comments have been posted - do you have a problem with me, Nikki? What have I done wrong?

  • Hi, I haven't gotten any posts from you. This approval page is a little bit confusing and now i understand how people can miss approving postings when they get a slew of them at once, but your posts aren't here at all and I've double checked and never saw any. I'm glad you wrote to let me know can you please resend? btw i'm forwarding some of your videos on my facebook page now. thanks. n~

  • most folks just allow comments and allow video responses, and then if something really objectionable comes along, you can delete it

    but that is rare

  • btw, i did reset it so I don't have to approve each comment. hope that will work better for everyone. pennilesscripple thank you for sharing your knowledge about youtube so generously with me on this public thread and in email as well.

  • You people are very very beautiful people. Derrick, Lierre, Nikki. Keep fighting. I am right with you. With as much love as I can give,

    Peiro

  • One point to take into consideration is that when i was working on this video I was not even aware that youtube had started with this new advertising policy. I saw ads on videos but i didn't know how they got there or why. It seemed like maybe people were putting the ads there for extra money and I thought it was an incredible bad idea. In the future I may use copyrighted music or images, i don't know, and can't say if i will or won't. However I will certainly try to avoid it.

  • Bravo, Nikki, Derrick, Lierre, Justine...

As far as the ads on You Tube, what a perfect use of the master's tools against the "master!"

  • the ads are not a use of the master's tools against the master; they are a use of the master's tools *for* the master

using youtube is a good, but far from perfect, use of the master's tools against the master

  • Just to let you know i do not consider putting this video on youtube to be using the masters tools against the master tho i might work that way, but primarily i've got it her so it can reach people and be easily networked.

  • yeah well they're not our masters anyway

they're just slaves with softer beds ;^)

  • haha. i don't use that term much but i was just quoting what originally appeared on the page and trying to reply. (I'm really tired. : ) ) totally agreed. I try to use whatever i can, anyway, anyhow.

  • The problem is how to you get peoples minds off baseball boobs and beer long enough to wake them up? It seems that nobody cares. If it started tomorrow, I'd say FU to corporate America and the illusion of the American dream, smash my cell phone and shut off the computer and burn my car. That's what it's going to take folks. Going back to COMMUNITY and growing your own vegetables. The elite are pigs and greedy skum. Are we going to let them destroy the planet so they can eat prime rib M-F?

  • 1. you talk to them

    2. people care

    3. it's already started

    4. sounds like a good start

    5. they're just doing what they've been trained to do

    6. no, we're not

  • umm...perhaps you could start by dismantling the 'sponsored by visa' ad?

as they say on the internets, wtf?

  • totally agreed. At first it was mcdonalds ads and I almost didn't put the video on youtube. but it has to be here. they put advertising on any site where there is 3rd party copyright ownership. Very sad to have obnoxious animated advertising that distracts and goes against everything we want to convey. And it is going to get worse on youtube. I did have some ideas for protest that could be effective which i will speak about elsewhere. but thank u for bringing it up.

  • yes i understand. the way around it is to use original materials or copyright-free materials throughout. if you used music that wasn't copyrighted you wouldn't have the ads.

  • yes i would always prefer not to use copyrighted info, and you are totally right. Unfortunately I don't have original footage from the arctic, nor actually _any_ footage of this compelling, nor access to anyone individual or group who performs as Justine Suissa and Oceanlab do. Partly this video is meant to be a tribute to them as well.

  • i understand, & trust you don't think i'm quibbling. but if we can't find ways to escape the machine in an online venue, at least the more overt commercial aspects, then we certainly can't do it in our 'real' lives, and, more importantly, we can't expect anyone else to.

in which case we might as well give up the fight and hide under our beds.

there are many wonderful artists who would be willing to share their work. isn't sharing freely what it's all about?

  • no i do not think you are "quibbling" pennilesscripple. you are bringing up important concerns i believe. thank u.

  • ok now for my last point. that is that about 45 minutes before you raised the issue about "wonderful artists" I did follow the link off your user name on this page and could not believe what i found in the quality of work of yours and your friends. I posted on there essentiall let's collaborate sometime. Then your post about independent artist 45 minutes later. My next video will hopefully be with an amazing man in New Zealand with original work (... continued)

  • I agree with you this is water under the bridge and I will just move on learning what i have here, partly from what you have shared in this comment section. My next projects are lined up, as I'm quite suer yours are, but if ever we should get an opportunity I would be honored to work with you on something. Your work is inspiring to me.

  • this video isn't a tribute to j.s. and oceanlab; it's an advertisement for them.

however, this video is water under the bridge--but what about the next one?

you say you have no control over these aspects, but you do. anti-civ youtubers have posted 1000s of excellent videos without advertisements--to say that you can't have a quality video without resorting to commercial material is to sanction the very system you are critiquing.

as you say, 'resist do not comply.'

  • nah i'm not saying i don't have control over every aspect, i meant over ad content or whether there was an ad or youtubes advertising policy.

Sounds like you do disagree, and as an incredible (iheard your music) independent musician I am sure you know more about this than I do or have been able to think about it, and I do respect you for that... (continued in next post)

  • ...(continued from previous post) But i did mean this to be a tribute to the song, as an environmental war cry, not an advertisement for them, but in all honesty i like oceanlab so much that I would do an "ad" for them, i think, even tho they would not need me to advertise for them as they have viewers by the quabillions. commercial, yes, but still this music expressed exactly what i wanted to in this video and that's why i used it.

  • also to clarify not only do we not approve to put the ads, or approve of the content politically, but we get no money from them. we have no control over what is there either. Welcome to the new youtube. you can close the visa add that obnoxiously covers the bottom of the video by clicking the x in the top right corner. thanks for pointing all this stuff out.

  • life takes visa

    visa takes life

  • thank you for your great work on this video

    don't stop

  • "A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery; it cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind, courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.Mao Zedong. I am ready to revolt

  • hi y'all. thank you for all the very moving comments on the video. <3 Does anyone who is proficient at maneuvering Youtube know why our video would not be in the search engines? If so can you private email me? thanxs

  • Probly cuz it only has 700 views so far (5/26/09)

  • it's in the search engine now, nikki, as i just found it that way. it takes a day or two sometimes.

  • yes i just saw it was. thanks!

  • What's the name of this song and who sings it? Anyone know? Thanks! Great job on the vid by the way, so terribly important.

  • the song is miracle by oceanlab and the singer is Justine Suissa.

  • its sad, we are to busy pretending that things will just get better.. until people are willing to stand up against it, nothing will change. Enjoy the photos now because those creatures will likely be leaving the earth before long.

  • people are standing up

    find them, and join them

those creatures do not need to leave

it is not a foregone conclusion

we need to stop the machine that is killing us all

  • "The only miracle we're going to get is us" - Derrick Jensen

Thank you for this beautiful collaboration: particularly Nikki Craft, Lierre Keith and of course: Derrick Jensen!

Yes, it is entirely up to us!

  • Wow...just..wow. I cried. Yet another reminder keeping me on the right path, with the right focus. But like most truth these days, difficult to witness.

  • it's impossible for any human with a heart to watch this video without crying

  • Really good messages and well done, it got me thinking. I hope people don't use the crisis of capitalism as en excuse to reneg on environmental commitments that were already agreed upon, are we really that suicidal? This whole system we live under is just utterly absurd, completely immoral and surreally irrational. Yet we seem trapped in it.

  • Nikki, Lierre, Derrick... everyone, thank you!

  • This is incredible.

  • Nikki, Lierre, Derrick, and Justine, and evryone else involved, THANK YOU!

VERY IMPORTANT messages from Lierre and Derrick, and the whole video, and music of course, which are absolutely beautiful and touching.

  • Thank you :-)
