Tom is a helluva thespian no matter what others say but he always plays it as a slightly or way off arrogant top gun, altho' he is really ass bottom butch. He always gives his 100+% (at that too). i had an old VHS that had Tom in an airplane; then next movie on it he was on a horse; then the next movie in a car. I was fast forwarding it to look for a particular scene or part and my son just cracked up. There's Tom in an airplane; there's Tom on a horse; now Tom's in a car. lol (when VHS was still around and you could slow copy 3 movies)
every thing he does and says sound so unnatural and yet he's always relaxed and confident... that's his trick. That's what makes him interesting and charismatic.
@gabackermann Exactly. To say nothing about his multiple skills : he climbs cliffs, flies helicopters, pilots racing cars, rides motorcycles, all this on a regular basis. He really is ethan hunt in real life. This guy is a great actor and deserves more consideration.
