The greeks make up 75% of the population, 10% of Cypriots are good Greeks who are Muslim aligned with the Turks. Not only most turks dont admit that they had killed millions of christians in m.asia but they say that armenians and greeks killed million of turks! yes there were lots of greek soldiers. even when turkish soldier landed kyrenia coast.given many decrement by turkish army,but captured the Kyrenia mountains and saw that many greek soldiers was firing to turkish soldiers from the shelter and were chained in his legs. afterwards learned that Greek officers escaped from there and had left the greek soldiers for fighting till to die.most of them ware taken captive and I think that they was under arrest untill middle of the 80s

The war lasted more than 8 days. Lasted 34 days! From 20 of July till 22 of August. No-one wanted to clean Cyprus from the Turks. The atrocities were ONLY done by the Turks in that period. The Turkish soldiers did not stopped their mania even on the bodies of my dead comrades. I was eye witness.

I agree that the TMT killed Greeks too, however many, many more Turks were being killed. Ethnic cleansing of Turks started in 1955 right until 1974. EOKA B targeted Turks and in response TMT was created. Turks were not free to move a round, The Cyprus government denied the Turks their rights.nothing cleaver about it.
