I am the lucky new owner of a Nic Hambas custom concert grand, and must say, you really can't find a more beautiful dulcimer. I can't thank you enough Nic for creating such a wonderful instrument.
@mike118117 The South Wind (An Gaoth Aneas) is a different tune altogether to Si Bheag, Sí Mhór. You can check Si Bheag, Sí Mhór on the many videos of it on Youtube to contrast it to this piece.
Beautifully done. Thanks. I learned it on guitar a couple of months ago. I like the way you pieced still images to the music. What software did you use to accomplish that? Larry
Great job! I like the sound and the instrument, which is really a piece of craftmanship. Could you send me details about the builder? I play the European version of the dulcimer, the epinette (des vosges) or hommel. These instruments give us lots of pleasure, don't they?
This is a great tune, thanks so much for posting it. Your dulcimer is lovely. I have one made by Peter Cooney. It's great to see someone else keeping the old traditions alive. Kudos!
Beautiful piece.I like very much this version on dulcimer.

Uh...not really. See my video "Linda's Dulcimer" where I play Si Beagh Si Mhor. A bit similar, but not the same tune.

Southwind and Martimas Wind are alternative titles for the Irish title of this O'Carolan tune "Si Beagh Si Mhor".
