  • Correct, if he went out on his own he would lose his eligibility until the defense or an official touches the ball. Because he was forced out, he is eligible to be the first to touch a forward pass, the fact that he leaped from OOB does not change this. A player is inbounds if he is not OOB, since he left the ground he is considered inbounds by rule.

  • If there wasn't a force-out by the corner before the catch, that would be an illegal touching of a forward pass by the receiver?
