@Alterego912 After, this is the Walter Lanz version of Oswald, not the Disney version...ps, the Fleischers did sound cartoons starting in 1924, a full 4 years before Disney, who, as usual, took all the credit
@Alterego912 I suppose it depends on the deffinition of perfect, I mean, the sound in Steamboat Willie was far from perfect; let me put it this way, the Disney company has an amazing talent for claiming all the firsts, even when history shows otherwise.
@Alterego912 Well, that depends which version of technicolour... Disney bought exclusive rights to 4 colour technicolour (for cartoons), but, the 3 colour process was used by others, first.
Oswald's voice in this video sounds odd. I don't think it suits him. My opinion anyway. I always imagined that in the future, Oswald should be given a sassy outspoken kind of voice. Anyone with me on that one?
i think oswald was so cute in this one. a big change from troubled trooly. and i wish he would had stayed in power. i would love to see oswald as the face of disney. i could imagine growing up to that.
Another disney cartoon villian. Originated from the comics. Basically, a living blot of ink. But sometimes he was portrayed as an old man wearing black clothing.
Okay,I see PB in the modern Mickey Mouse cartoons as the person-in-black version;I see in 'Epic Disney' they're gonna go with the living ink version--much creepier and befitting the story. Thanks again.
I find these old cartoons mildly disturbing. As animation was new and no one was really sure what a cartoon should be like, they tended to overdo the motion, there is always something moving on the screen, usually a looped animation. It is tiring and manic.
Wow. It's incredible how this cute little Rabbit who helped the animals from abusers turned into a homicidal maniac that turns all the loveable DIsney characters into monsters and attempts to kill Mickey.
That's not what happens in the game at ALL! People need to understand that Oswald is a good guy in the game and that he just is resentfull at Mickey, but the real villain is the Phantom Blot, who Oswald actually fought against and lost too.
Uhhhhh... I posted that comment BEFORE it was announced Oswald was just a victim as well as Mickey... Still, wanting to get rid of his own brother is pretty cruel. Nonetheless, it's to expect they'll come to an alliance... I hope Oswald's playable :3
@SonicZeroKm Oswald isn't trying to kill Mickey. Owald plays as Mickey's older brother who is stuck in the world of forgotten. They have sibling rivalry, but nothing evil.
Where did I say I didn't like Oswald or any of the Disney characters? I love Disney! I've seen every single Mickey Mouse cartoon, that's how much I love Disney.
I know Oswald didn't do anything evil. That comment was posted more than one year ago, when barely anything of the plot was revealed, and people thought Oswald was evil.
Mickey Mouse is one of the most brilliant things ever invented, and all the crap Disney throws at us now is a disrespect to the name.
Why do people keep commenting on my year old comment?
I already had to make it clear twice, for crying out loud!
Back on September 2009 barely anything was known about the game, and people thought Oswald was going to be the villain. It was revealed around the end of September, on the October Issue of Game Informer, that Oswald wasn't the villain.
I HAVE the game, I've beat it twice, and I can very well assure you I've played it before you.
WHY DO PEOPLE NOT PAY FREAKING ATTENTION, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.
BACK IN SEPTEMBER OF LAST YEAR, NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS KNOWN ABOUT THE GAME'S PLOT. All that was known, was that the Phantom Blot was the bad guy, everything was screwed up, and that Oswald was in it.
So people assumed Oswald was gonna be a villain, but it turns out he wasn't, I've beat this game 2 times already, so PLEASE people, read my newer comments, not the one I posted a year ago.
ok, you got it all wrong! oswalds just jealous of mickey and mickey's sucess, he doesnt want to kill him! and he didnt make the other disney characters into monsters, he gave all the rejected and retired characters a wonderful home. he just created robots of goofy and donald and whatnot so he'd have best friends like mickey. mickey and oswald make up in the end, in epic mickey. now do you get it? oh, and the're brothers. brothers love eachother, no matter how mad they get.
Then, look at many previous comments, and you'll see about 5 or 4 of me saying that in September 2009 aboslutely nothing was known about the game, except for the fact that there were forgotten Disney characters, Oswald the lucky rabbit was in it, and everyone assumed Oswald was evil.
Now, I'm only going to say it one last time:

Actually, most cartoon mice looked alike at the time, Mickey wasn't the first to look like that, he was just the most famous. I think that it is probably because the different companies shared many of the same animators.

Those mice are just like Mickey, but it was to cruel, knocked out a mother is something upsetting. Was Disney agree with this?
Those it had a political explication?
However I feel sorry for Oswald he could can be as famoust as Mickey

Actually, most cartoon mice looked alike at the time, Mickey wasn't the first to look like that, he was just the most famous. I think that it is probably because the different companies shared many of the same animators.
