  • Anyone who does not know about how brutal the chinese communist party is should watch this video

Tibet: Murder In The Snow Trailer

    watch?v=LYN-mzRLABg

and become informed about the largest criminal organisation in the world. But Tibet is just one of many countries where the chinese communist party does terrible things. Do not just learn about Tibet.

  • She is too simple.

  • Annie Lennox stands up for Tibet. Remember Tibet is not part of China and the evil brutal LYING colonial chinese communist party has no right to be in Tibet or

    1. Loot Tibet for 60 years

    2. Carry out all manner of human rights abuses. KILLINGS, Torture, Forced Sterilisation without anaesthetic etc

    3. Try and wipe out Tibets beautiful culture and religion (Cultural Genocide)

    4. Keep INVADING Tibet with more Han Chinese INVADERS

    5. Blatantly LIE about what is going on to top everything off.

This video is not about the US or Iraq.

The Corrupt Colonial Chinese Communist Party has been TORTURING, KILLING and doing all sorts of other nasty things in Tibet since the invasion of independent Tibet 60 years ago. MANY hundreds of thousands of Tibetans have been KILLED. Apparently more than 1.2 million deaths were reported to HHDL.

  • Hey, she's Scottish, not American! Paying attention to what Palden Gyatso is trying to tell you might have some value...

  • 1)

For me Palden Gyatso is a hero and the hard man of modern Tibet. But many other Tibetans have made huge contributions to the fight for Tibetan freedom. Other heroes of modern Tibet for me are

    Tash Despa

who went back to Tibet and got the footage for

Dispatches Undercover in Tibet (48 minutes on Google Video)

(in my opinion by far the BEST video about modern Tibet)

  • 2)

    The Unknown Nun

Who made sure she survived being tortured in a chinese jail, so when she got out she could tell the story of her 14 fellow nuns who perished or were KILLED in a chinese prison. MANY other Tibetans have died in a chinese prison since the invasion of independent Tibet 60 years ago. The video the Unknown Nun is in is

Torture in Tibet: A Buddhist Nun Tells Her Story

(and you only need to watch the first 75 seconds as it is not very nice after that)

  • Some years ago i read his book, how these people suffer, peace is just a word...

  • @1961WF2909 NO! The commitment to peace is radical action.

  • "the mind can't be imprisoned"

  • who am i to do disagree.

  • Palden Gyatso is an incredible human being and I am blessed to know him.May with all the attention China is getting for the Olympics-more people will get educated on the situation between China and Tibet---and join the fight for freedom for the people of Tibet.

  • one word: MOVING!!!

  • So happy to stumble upon your film, I did not know about it. My husband and I were so very fortunate to have helped to host Palden during his stay in Arizona a few years ago. Being around him changed my life. He is an example of the potential we all have, pure compassion and peaceful awareness. Thanks for sharing! FREE TIBET!!!

  • What Palden Gyatso had suffered are not unique some 30 years ago in all parts of China. As a child in a north province, I saw criminals (not political) carrying rocks to built a artificial hill in a park, which was very dangerous. Everybody knew at that time that criminals may be tortured to confession. Before 1976 things were even worse. Millions of innocent people were imprisoned, including CCP leaders. Intellectuals were especially ill-treated, Lao She, a revered writer, committed suicide.

  • I feel sad for Paldden Gyatso, as well as others being ill-treated. But I object to use his story for free Tibet movement. The human right violation is not particularly targeted at any of the 56 ehnics in China, including the Tibetans. In fact, the Han ethnic may be treated worse because of less international focus. And things had improved significantly after Deng's reform from 1976. All the Chinese people hope China will continue to improve as it happened during the past three decades.

  • Tibetans are living under martial law in the biggest prison in the world (Tibet). Many human rights abuses happen in Tibet and I have many favourite videos that show the abuses.

  • So nice to see this.

Book is called; Fire under the Snow

From; Palden Gyatso with Tsering Sakya

Made in 1998 and today CCP evil became worse. While accepting to be host of the Olympic under condition to improve human right China has made it even worse. We must stop this, for the Tibetans, but also for the world which faces great evil from the CCP government. The world will watch Tibet and China. FREE TIBET FROM CCP TERRORISM.

  • Free Tibet ! .. and more toothpaste for the Chinese !!

  • 1998, my god 10 years and it's still horrifyingly relevant.... Bejing- world olympics and the world is watching....

  • the world is so messed up...God Bless you Miss Lennox, your kindness,....

  • Ethics. Compassion. Justice. I'm really impressed! Sorry. It's shallow of me but what I really love is the startling grey eyes & the slightly mental creativity, the magical voice & the surreal other-worldliness. Go on for ever. Wishing you well in all you do.

  • I am happy to announce that I met Palden in Glasgow, Scotland, 2004. We were attending three days of teachings by the Dalai Lama. On that first morning, as we exited the taxi at the exhibition centre, another taxi drew up behind us. Palden exited that taxi. Our eyes met and I saw one of the most incredible human beings. Later my wife and daughter had their picture taken with him. He is a true Bodhisattva on this earth!!!! Bless him!!!!

  • I am in awe of you and your passionate soul, Annie. I believe in you and your mission to bring these issues to the surface and open many eyes and hearts.

  • A great woman! Annie è molto più che una delle più belle voci del mondo

  • Annie I love you! The Queen of Rock & Roll

  • Tibetan Buddhist here, thank you so much for doing this video. I still, do not understand, why the US, and other countries did not stop the Chinese invasion of Tibet. No country even attempted to go in and save the Tibetans that are murdered, even today-they are murdered! Yet, here we are, today, shopping, and buying things made in China! Don't forget folks-Tibetans are being murdered each and every day, by the chinese military!

  • Annie is a beautiful, stunning, artist! Not another one like her in the world.

  • If the human race has any chance of surviving the next one hundred years and evolving toward a brighter future we should all look to Palden for the values, vision and behavior that we will so surely need to make safe crossing!

    Annie Lennox, I salute you!

And good to hear your new single-Dark Road! You are a radiant beacon of honest, open artistic expression and human comminication. May we all be so blessed with such talent, will and ability!

  • Wow - what a powerful and profoundly inspiring interview.

This documentary is invaluable not only as living record of China's perpetuation of holocaust on Tibet, their people and culture, but, even more importantly, it records the heroic rise of a stong and dedicated human soul that transcended and, utlimately, survived extreme evil and inhuman cruelty through realization of his higher nature.

  • Tibetan Buddhist here, thank you so much for doing this video. I still, do not understand, why the US, and other countries did not stop the Chinese invasion of Tibet. No country even attempted to go in and save the Tibetans that are murdered, even today-they are murdered! Yet, here we are, today, shopping, and buying things made in China!!!!!

  • Humans for the most part really missed this wonderful nation of incredible minds. Political and spiritual ignorance meant China was able to destroy this culture that had so much to offer before the world realized what is and has happened to Tibet. Fortunately Tibetan Buddhism has survived and is an inspiration to the lucky few who have found it.

  • samten - do you like Buddy Holly?

  • I never met him

  • What about his music?

  • not really. Santana, Hendrix, Dylan but not middle American popular.

  • What about Johnathan Lennon?

  • onlyDECENTcandidate

  • La illaha il Allahu. Palden is living proof of this. Sometimes I feel the Gnostics Demiurge is a good explanation of the bestiality of Powers like the Chinese state or the crazy US neocons (who was conned by them) willing to kill 100000's of divine souls in pursuit of earthly rust, the behaviour of Israel towards those they dispossed, the gangsta's who own Russia. In UK we have a new BOMB but only vapourware care for the needy. Olympics to build peace- maybe. Salaams to Palden

  • This Vid is cool! Shame about your music...

  • thank you Annie, I am your biggest fan ever, you are a great humanitarian and a wonderful person, your music and work inspires us all xx

  • Keep up the pressure ! Always mention Tibet when people talk about the Olympics. Well done Annie

  • Thank you, Ms. Lennox.

    Thank you very much.

  • Annie, thank you very much for your humanity towards your fellow man. Your actions and caring is your gift to us all. Thank you today for sharing with us one more gift of this video.

    Dan

  • Well said! stefaniafreetibet.

    Tibet libre!

  • you say, after world war two the whole world promised that no more holocaust would happen again, but this is not true, there are plenty of countries where human rights abuses are carried out every day and it is common people like us(along with politicians, those who have the courage to do it!) who can help to make the world aware that changes not only can be done, but must be done!

    Free Tibet!

  • Luckily I had the opportunity to meet Palden Gyatso here in Italy, he is such a strong man with a luminous mind!

I wish there will more aware people around the world that will try to Boycott the 2008 Beijing Olympics so that the focus is put on the huge problems China has which are constantly hidden by the regime with the support of international mass media!

  • I am an Italian activist for Tibet, I also have been a member of AI (Amnesty International) for many years, collecting petitions and, of course, I am part of an Italian association, called Italia-Tibet, being a strong supporter for the freedom of Tibetan people.

  • Well done, Annie!

You are not only a wonderful looking lady, a great singer and a sweet human being, you are also a strong Amnesty International supporter! My congratulations, dear Annie.

I only saw this video today, I did not know about your footage on Palden Gyatso dated 1998, probably it was released on youtube only recently?

  • Respect to great man! Annie u r awesome!

"A nation's culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of the people" NO evil can change it! period!

  • Not only is this video a powerful advertisement for Amnesty International, it is a powerful advertisement for the buddhist teachings. Palden Gyatso's inner strength is testimony to that. Thank you.

  • free Tibet! support Tibet freedom and other oppressed people in china by BOYCOTT OPLYMPICS IN BEIJING!

  • The Chinese Government is NOT a communist government they are a disgrace to the communist Ideals. they are an Oppressive Greedy Totalitarian Fascist Government and have NO right to call themselves Communist.

Free Tibet, end the terror. Viva Amnesty international. Viva Annie Lennox.

  • I can only imagine the pain endured by Palden Gyatso and those similarily imprisoned in China. The entire world must stand up and against these attrocities. Annie, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I commend you for your noble efforts on behalf of Amnesty International and it's supporters such as myself. God bless you!

  • Thanks Annie.

  • Deep Sadness Sad

    Man cruel politic

    neighbour undermenschened

    Nation remain through

    religion and culture,

    Chinese Families disgraced.

Middle Kingdom foul perfidity. Geese Crying in the Air.

  • OMG, I don't think I would have survived in his position; how awful! I can't understand how some people can hurt and abuse others and not feel bad about it.

Nice job, Annie, you're such a sweetie.

Oh and I love your signature, lol. <333333Kim

  • Marcus Tullius cicero once wrote, "The spirit is the true self. The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure." You can break a man's bones, you can make him bleed, but, you will never take his spirit, that belongs to the man.........Annie, well done!!
