Have you had a chance to read the referenced Time article? At the time the article was written the US Supreme Court upheld the loss of its tax-exempt status as a church. So at least at one point in the past it was a "profit making business." I am not sure if it has been restructured in the US to be a church legally.

Which brings up the point. Whenever a theist tries to argue that atheism is really a religion, the obvious disprove is that Atheism doesn't get tax-exempt status. So legally Atheism is NOT a church.

After Having fully read and understood the Time Article, I still say that its a CON i.e to CON innocent people into buying their manipulative services, raping their minds and their bank accounts and should be made Illegal.

I think you misunderstood my comment. I don't disagree in the least that Scientology is a cult created to enrich L. Ron Hubbard. I wish there was some way to stop the pain and suffering this cult causes.
