Great playing....AND some important added significance -- this is the Aretha version, which was recorded in Muscle Shoals, with Duane Allman playing slide guitar on the track - same signature line that Derek plays here...ALSO, this stage is about 100 yards from the stage of Friars Tavern, which is now the Hard Rock Cafe. This was the stage that Levon and the Hawks played when Bob Dylan saw them in 1965. He hired them, and they became The Band, and in a couple of years, created this song.
