This is pretty cool, but I gotta say, It's SO much more amazing live in the theater. The energy from the song is 20000x this clip, and the last note from the bass drum? They let it ring so great, its thunder shakes the entire room (we were near the back, and it was chilling). And for the sunrise in the beginning, the props they use to recreate that is just unbelievable.

PS: at our showing in NY last spring, the actor for Rafiki, performing since the broadway release, retired after our show. :D!!

@animallover2047 A few years ago my sister stage managed The Lion King Musical in London's West End, and we got a backstage tour and to meet the actors: it was an incredible experience to be able to meet the people that give so much passion to these musicals. Also, the effects they use on the stage for Mufasa appearing to Simba and the waterhole and stuff is amazing!!

I saw this! The opening was freaking epic! I know many theaters are different, but in the Mandalay Bay theater in Vegas, the animals walked down the aisles i think when it begins at 1:00, pretty sick, especially since I was at the end of a row, and some giraffe man walked by me.
