the pyraminx from cube for you is fake, not in good quality the pyraminx they sell are from china, which if you drop for 2-3 times it absolutely broke inside... be careful the good pyraminx are from mefferts and japan.. but the problem with japanese pyraminx is so expensive

not a problem, i like helping people =]. idk if the mechanism is different. his sounds like spring loaded. the meffert's brand pyraminx is magnetic (just so the pieces click into place properly) but idk if its spring core or not. i cant hear the springs when i turn it so im guessing no. meffert's skewb is like that too, all of them click into place. yellow and i think orange are switched though, same colors and same vibrance as rubik's cube stickers

cool..I can get all sides with one missing on each...I have an original pyraminx from the 80's ..it's white with the original plastic pyramid display case and original gold pyraminx / sphinx decal...It was one of my fav toys as a kid...next to STOMPERS....

oh well you just twist the second layer until until the center piece matches its right color and then you switch around the edges.
