It's hard to drive on 610-S and not shake your head in sadness. If they ever tear down the 'Dome, that will be all my childhood summer memories taken away. Every summer from as far back as I can remember... Astroworld, Waterworld, Astro's game in the 'Dome in one 3-day weekend. When I got older, it turned into season passes..wish I would have kept up with them better.

I loved going there. The awesome concerts that came included with your ticket, and later they included a free admission to Waterworld, which used to cost extra. My friend had a season pass that included a free ticket for a friend every time you used it, so we went a lot since he was a huge nerd, and I was his only friend!(nerds were picked on outcasts in the '80's and had no friends other than there own kind, now there your millionaire bosses!) I will always cherish the memories!

it was VERY sad that it closed...and it's all due to the retarted dumb@ss gangs that want to act like little babies and cause trouble in the park. Dont they have enough of the houston streets to "play on" than trying to over run a theme park?.....i hate gangs and any1 associated with one should be beaten by the public until they're not recognizable!!!!

They destroyed a perfectly good theme park!!!
