  • Worst Reenactment! Good thing they are trying to sell this product and not become professional actors.

  • batteries? not legit... do not want.

  • watch?v=Xy0UBpagsu8

  • is it actually battery powerd cuz then i dont want this

  • God, she's ugly.

  • HOLY CRAP, IT'S $230.

  • It took me till the last minute to realize this was a re-enactment of one of the scenes in the movie. -.-

  • is the base plastic or wooden?

  • @fantasypills The fact that you asked plastic and not metal worries me.

  • @mummyjohn It's because I know for a fact that these are only made with either a plastic or wooden base.

  • @fantasypills That changes things.

  • this is sooo cool, i could watch it for HOURS

  • The only part of the movie I remember.

In fact, I was still being distracted by it throughout the rest of the movie. XD

  • This is awesome for trolling engineers. Imagine you had a meeting with an engineer, he would be so much distracted by what seems to be a perpetual movement on your desk.

  • Seen better acting in a porn movie

  • @jumper0136 You have to admit, he did pretty good.

  • WOW, a mirror cube ! (near the Kinetic Sculpture)

  • Wow bad acting.

  • That thing on her face is the most distracting thing there.

  • fuck that its 3d

  • At the end I realized I hand't listened to a single thing they said 0_0.

  • Mirror blocks cube!

  • The guy is a good actor, the girl.. not so much

  • good but not anywhere near Robert.. you cant be as good as him

  • nice kinitec power

  • not be pointing fingers .. but this video just show how good Robert Downey Jr. did a job of acting in that movie.

  • Did you really have to reenact the scene? That was tres awkward seeing a random dude trying to play the uncanny Robert Downy Jr.

  • Why does this cost so much?

  • You see a lot of films,

    Example Iron Man, rsrsrs

  • ALIEN TECHNOLOGY!!

  • titanium spork!!!!!

  • I wanted to do what he did to this thing at the end the entire time I watched this

  • I'll only buy it if it comes with Robert Downey Jr.

  • Win

  • Very well done :D

  • White Balance!

  • Ridiculously overpriced. No thanks.

  • $250?

The material that made the thing can't be near that much.

  • @Blacckkfire the materials probably aren't. but factor in r&d, shipping, advertising costs, payroll for all your employees. profit margin still isnt that high.

  • @Blacckkfire probably not, but since it was in an Iron Man movie, they feel like raping your wallet D:

  • @EliteDuffman That's just stupid. Things should be at the price that they are worth rather than what notoriety they have.

  • @Blacckkfire true, but people are greedy

  • its neat but the price is insane! , if it was like 50 bucks then MABY i would think about buying it.

  • $250..... 0_o

  • lol iron man copy

  • That was a surprisingly great Robert Downey Jr. impression.

  • This was really freaking stupid, that bimbo has a super annoying voice, someone please tell her to shut the fuck up

  • Comment removed

  • @Subaruman27 what are you gay? lol most guys find her hot you find her annoying?! Also, I found the male to be the annoying one who mumbled through the whole video!

  • @TiberiusStorm you find this dyke hot!?

  • @alexmilani LoL yeah she's kinda cute!

  • @TiberiusStorm but shes an alpha female! i like my women in the kitchen. not myself

  • @alexmilani I like all different kinds of women. I get what you're sayin tho!

  • That video was really really fing stupid, I bet that bitch behind the desk is a lesbo

  • im pretty sure pepper pots does not have a mole the size of london on her face....

  • 250 BUCKS?!

  • wtf was the point of that besides wasting 3 minutes of my life? Could it have been any more annoying? I get it, there's a cool spinny thing on her desk. But WTF is the point of the retarded dialogue? Couldn't they have just shown the spinny thing without annoying 'actors'?....... sigh

  • @currymuncher7

You obviously have not watched Iron Man 2

  • @currymuncher7 they were just redoing the scene from the Iron man movie where this is from..

  • melly guslow

  • isn't perpetual movement imposible??

  • @pablodelful

    Batteries are your friends!

  • @pablodelful It is. This has batteries.

  • @thinkgeek Batteries run out

  • @thinkgeek This needs a generator next to it that turns kinetic enegy into electrical energy, and tah-dah, perpetual movement because FUCK YOU Noether!

  • @thinkgeek The Atmos clock is perpetual in normal conditions

  • @thinkgeek it's not. reidar finsrud made it.

  • @thinkgeek

    Replace the batteries?

    Stops moving.

  • @pablodelful tell that to the electrons !!

  • @pablodelful If you have an item quantum locked in a vacuum then it is possible on earth, and theoretically on your desk, so long as you were able to keep the container cold.

  • @pablodelful hasn't been proven either way... but this silly little thing isnt perpetual

  • I remember watching this part of the movie and I was so distracted by the office toy that I didn't hear a single word they said.

  • alittle bit expensive...

  • IRON MAN 2 COPY :p

  • Must be one of the worst actresses I've ever seen!!

  • Re-LOL

it works with 4 batteries. so it's not interesting.

  • LOL how much their fabrication costs? ahd how much are they sold?

    they mock us

  • that thing is worth maybe $20 max... not $280

  • thumbs up if you were staring at the thing the whole time

  • They come from HK and are available if interested. Send me an e-mail and I can get you in touch with the engineer who designed them. mrhotdice@aol.com

These have been around for a few years before IRON MAN

  • That thing would look nice in my room, I want one. :o

  • It says it needs batteries?

  • I dont have one but i've gotten very angry at one before.. the way it moves is sooo distracting and irritating.. if you want to annoy the f*** out of your co-workers buy one and put it on your desk... wait for the rage..

  • I want it but like caffeinated stuffs and some bacon stuffs, it can't be shipped outside of USA!

    ThinkGeek, do something for us!

  • don't buy this! I got it and it's very annoying.. it won't stop moving. :(

  • I love this thing got 3 of them actually. One for home office, my work office and on for my GF.

These are epic, they feel solid and always attract attention when people come into my office. My Little cousin just stares at it constantly :P

  • For 280, this thing better be made of freaking silver.

  • Comment removed

  • $240!!! are you out of your f%*&#!@ mind?

  • same think in Ironman 2! liar :P

  • This cannot be perpetual motion. Ignoring the fact that it's battery powered, the design itself cannot be in perpetual motion. There is always friction from the air that is trying to stop it, and there is always friction at the bearings. Also, gravity will always pull the off-balanced end back to the center eventually. And then there are these which generate friction in the most minute level, making perpetual motion impossible. You're welcome :)

  • @RBIVscreamtherequiem and by "these" i mean Virtual Particles, youtube won't let you post the link to wikipedia on them -.-

  • @RBIVscreamtherequiem You could have saved alot of time by simply mentioning the second law of thermodynamics. Also friction from air is negligible due to the fact that you could simply put it in an vacum which would negate all external friction. But who knows perhaps someday all such factors will be completely negligible.

  • @DEATHBYFLYINGCDS Think about it for a second. I'm on youtube posting a random comment, so obviously time isn't a concern here. Secondly, I'm trying to explain it to the laymen of youtube, so stating the 2nd law of thermodynamics isn't going to help anyone understand and having them go google it is an unnecessary inconvenience. Also, even a perfect vacuum (which is unattainable today) still consists of virtual particles which produce infinitesimally small amounts of friction.

  • Trippy!

  • Good replication of the scene o.o

  • $239.99... my GOD O_o

  • just because you have the sticks does not mean you can make a good video...

  • Maybe the reason it costs so much is because each one is machined individually from solid boxes of aluminum for increased durability. But you would have overlapped the cost of buying extruded pipe or making a mold many times. I have a dolphin kinetic sculpture that I got from a water park that is the same size as this and it works on the same principle.... for $15.

  • This could technically be a perpetual motion machine...

  • DISCOUNT PLEASE

  • not worth $200+, but cool looking.

  • YES!

  • Why cant you send it out of the us? Im in Norway and i want this. But at Think geeks web site it stands " shipping restrictions: we can not ship this out of th us" why?

  • @andreas1794 A matter of national security we cannot discuss... my condolences [-.gov]

  • what the fuck was all that?

  • Jesus christ, $240 is completely fucking insane for a sculpture that does nothing but look cool!!!!!!

  • Will you guys be able to sell the Arc Reactor anytime soon?

  • There's a Rubik's Mirror Bricks on the desk. :)

  • anyone else notice the titanium spork cameo :)

  • OMG!!! am i the only one that notices the titanium spor at the end in the cup LOL

  • $239? I want one, but for that price I'd expect a working repulser glove...

  • yea i can buy this for the low price of 239$

  • This chick can swing my stick.

  • arc reactor

  • im gonna try to go make this in little big planet...

  • Holy crap It's $240 and out of stock, people bought this thing!

  • I love how it keeps turning even after he tried to stop it xD

  • this scene in wrong the Kinetic Sculpture was facing stark in the movie not at pepper...

  • I'd probably buy it for 240 dollars if it was signed by the cast of Iron Man 2, but... isn't this thing worth about 30-something bucks? I almost thought there was a typo in your site. I don't know if you got suckered by the manufacturers or if they're the only people who would allow this thingamagig to be sold on your site. Definitely a fun-looking desk toy, but... it's a desk toy.

  • wow, $230 for that??

    wow.

  • Who have the actual patent for the item, it can be bought from couple different sources, what prevents others from just making these for $5 and selling them?

  • lol that scene from the movie was so funny

  • cool for $50 bucks. Cheap for $240

  • What's that thing on the right at the end that they're using to manipulate the screen?

  • I want to know where to find her shirt!

  • Love the video, but $240 FOR A DESK TOY? Bull. Pretty much price gouging.

  • this scene is so hilarious ^^

  • I can definitely make one. $240 is much of a rip-off. At first, i was thinking to myself that i can see myself buying something about $40 at most but not for $240 XD. Maybe for the original one that was used in the movie but not for a copy.

  • Shipping restrictions: We cannot ship this item outside of the U.S.

    WHYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!

  • I don't understand why it's $240. $50 sure. Maybe even a LITTLE bit more expensive. But $240?

  • you guys where awesome!

  • PPRRRIIICCE >:C

  • it is cool, but its a bit expensive for a desk toy LOL

  • 240 bucks..........

  • #OMG

  • #omg #omg

  • LOL this rules

  • I just now saw this movie, it's awesome!

  • #loveIT #whyThisPrice? $239.99

  • like it said this is ideal for w8ing room and i cant agree anymore... just looking at it make me distracted for REALLY long time

  • Tag, you're it.

  • Did you give it to them?

  • #OMG this is the slickest thing ever.

#OMG look at the price. I know it's not thinkgeek's fault, but this is a pretty cool-yet expensive-novelty.

  • @NeutronRocks very nice now the noobs will know how to do this #OMG

    stuff

  • kind of a stupid question, but what are those weird orange-highlited words in the comments below?

  • #OMG

  • #OMG the price :O

  • and that's exactly the reason I'm not getting those #LOL

  • they don't show no emothing

  • @SplinterDs emotion

  • makes me want to see the movie again.

  • when i become rich ill buy one

  • Was I the one who kept my eyes on the kinetic sculpture thing throughout this scene of the movie?

  • Double pendulum ftw

  • Can we just make these at home? I'm pretty sure you can find a tutorial online.

  • @gamer4999 You do realize that ThinkGeek doesn't make this and therefore has almost no control over the price, right?

  • The thing costeed like $19.99. The manufacturer saw it on Iron Man 2 and said

"OMG lets make ourselves Millionaires by jacking up the price humongously!!"

  • $239.99 & uses batteries, what a piece of engineering crap

  • WTF $240,come on really. You guys are seriously getting ridiculous now. Make your products recession friendly for crying out loud. I can make this shit out of number two pencils.

  • arc reactor on desk?? u guys sell that too??

  • $240.00 WTF????

  • it's probably the way it's made retards.

  • twohundredandfor..YOUMOTHAPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

  • lol, 239,99 for 4 metal pipes ur sick

  • that price tag is a joke! i'd expect more like $40 not $240

  • exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • 240 DOLLARS LMFAO

  • $239.99 for this?HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. This muest be a joke.

  • @MonoCabron123 *must

  • damn it I want one!!! Now all you have to do is make it about $200 cheaper and you'll have a customer!
