It drives me nuts that Merlin doesn't get real credit for everything he does for Arthur! My worst fear for this series, is that Arthur finds out on the final episode, and we only see a small snip-it of "X years later"

I really hope we see it played out, Arthur struggling with the fact that his best friend ( because that's what they are! ) is a sorcerer, the others trying to come to terms with it... And then maybe he's finally told of everything Merlin's done for him :)

its pretty cool, and i'd imagine the bbc would make a simalar story line to this, except arthur would go through a massive 'inner struggle' of whether to tell his father or not. he wouldn't, and until (in maybe a later series) uther dies, and arthur restores magic to camelot and merlin defeats nimueh. they then declare their undieing love for each other and kiss (FINALLY) and live happily ever after.
