Va Tech didn't play terrible. They played to thier level. A good/solid team. Thier defense shut down our offense. If Beamer didn't coach like a true idiot, Michigan loses. Va Tech did outplay Michigan, but they didn't put them away. What happens if they kick a FG, presumably make it rather than getting stuffed on fourth?? What happens if Beamer kicks the ball rather than fakes it?? Michigan benfitted from a coach being an idiot.

Ineligible Lineman downfield on the fake FG. FG kicker false starts on every kick attempt, including the fake. Holder tackles the VT guy on the fake AKA holding... Refs decided this one.

@wc632 once the ball hit a Va Tech player, anyone could catch the ball. 4th and 11 that thomas ran for, the Va Tech player had hands to Kovacs' face that wasn't called, Van Bergen and Martin were being held every player because Va Tech couldn't block them. Refs were awful both ways stop whining

Haha oh so kicker doesn't think he false started? Good enough for me. He did, not that it decided the game but it's been called in the past and changed the outcome of games. Cal vs#1 Oregon last year. I never said it was a lopsided game or anyone got screwed mind you. I don't care who won either way, just point out something obvious on the final play of the game.

FYI there's holding on every play in football and the game would take 6 hours to play if they called it every time.

"Team" is all three phases of football. As a "team" Va Tech sucked last night. Michigan won the game with defense and special teams, Va Tech only had defense.

As you can see, Michigan let VT nickel and dime them down the field but played great red-zone defense and didn't allow them to score touchdowns on big plays. On the other hand, VT allowed Michigan to make big plays which ultimately won them the game. If you take away Michigan's touchdown plays, then yes, they don't deserve to win. That's true by definition and a nonsense argument.

@ThoseWhoStayUofM k dumbass let me explain it to you. there is a huge difference between a team driving 80 yards for a touchdown and a team that just throws it up there and gets lucky and somehow scores a touchdown. just becauze michigan got lucking with 2 plays it doesn't mean MI outplayed VT. you see the score was 20:20 at the end of regulation because VT didn't need to get lucky like MI did to get 20 points that's why you didn't notice big plays by VT cuz they were getting 10yds per play

If VT outplayed Michigan, how do you explain the fact that Michigan scored more points than VT? It would have to be some form of outside influence on the game. Did the referees bias the game? VT fans would say yes but of course they are deluded. The refs were actually pretty good in this game. All of the major calls were correct in the end. The vast majority would agree with me.
