  • I didnt know carpets could be so deep...

  • the carpet is talking..

  • is it harmfull or addictive to try lsd once?

  • @666GrizzlyBeast No, LSD isn't physically harmful in any way except for the risk of getting hurt during the trip. No physical addiction either, and a huge tolerance so it doesn't work to do it again within 2 weeks anyways.

  • @666GrizzlyBeast no, but the affects of LSD on the mind are unpredictable

  • Words of wisdom

  • This seems so lovely assaadsfa

  • dude. that carpet is talking.

  • It's funny how the British can suck the fun out of anything with that accent.

  • @blanklabel1234567890 your mistakes are our success... haha jk I just felt like saying that (x but i actually came across it this month as i first started doing acid it seemed to make things more vivid for me and I noticed more things than I hadn't before don't ask why and things were easier for me to understand and I've never had a "bad trip" but maybe that's just me? everyones is different when it comes to psychedelic drugs LSD, Acid, Sydney, Lucy or whatever you wanna call it., it's all the
  • How did this actual benefit you? I understand you say it seemed to show you things and provided insight into how infinite the world is.. but how is this of any importance and how do you know this is real considering so many people who use these drugs undergo the same if not more "mistakes" in life?

  • As strange as this sounds, I thoroughly enjoyed the subtly of watching the carpet. At first I was like, why doesn't he just have some pictures or a blank screen, but after a while I really came to enjoy the carpet. His voice just works with it.

  • Yea that's cool and all. But seriously Simon. Just admit it's you.

  • !HOLY SHIT A TALKING CARPET

  • Everyone is trying to compare weed with LSD. Weed doesn't even compare to what LSD will make you see feel and believe. My believe on reality totally changed and how I perceived the world we human have created for ourselves. And when experimenting with it it slowly creeps and coming in waves of euphoria. At my peak is when I had an enlightenment and view the world literally as an alien visiting planet earth. Now I can say its changed me in a good way or bad way. But it changed the why I thought

  • you explanation explained my trip it felt like i would never get a bad trip like it was impossible and i had that reality feeling of being a young child

  • I have done ecstasy, cocaine and smoked alot of herb, can i handle an lsd trip in your experience?

  • @thedicklick1 psychedelics are very different, so start in low doses

  • acid is hard as fuck to get in all placed ive ever lived...

  • I like yo' carpet.

  • All my friends have done acid & have nothing but good things to say about it. I've always wanted to try it, but I have a pretty bad anxiety disorder, would it be a bad idea?

  • @mufflestilskin91 same, but ive done it a few times. not my favortie drug but i never got a bad trip

  • Yo yo,, Im 16 and have been smoking bud for two years and so far my experience with hallucinogens has been dyphenhidrinate, diphenhydramine, ecstasy, salvia, sleeping pills, and more I can't think of. Would it still be a bad idea for me to drop 2 hits with some of my friends?

  • what u think is better...marijuana or lsd? i say i wana try lsd but it be too afraid of being scared

  • @charlienethercoat094 Smoke weed if you haven't, if you dont like it you probably wont like lsd either

  • @readme60 no but i really like weed ha

  • @charlienethercoat094 set and setting, set and setting. lsd is better. Don't do it unless you are ready and have educated your self on it. Also child proof the area you are tripping. Marijuana sucks, unless you are using a vaporizer.

  • @spotlightman1234 say whaaaaaaaaat? marijuana is fucking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • People either say "This sounds exactly like LSD" Or "This is nothing like LSD!". Well, this is because everyone's experiences may differ, depending on how your mind works, your mindset, your location, the amount you take, age, creativity, intelligence, and past experiences in life. This video is however, displays a very accurate description of the basics and personal insight into the effects of LSD.

  • Fair warning if your going to try hard drugs like lsd and shrooms you can go crazy. I went schizo one night smoking pot (hadnt tripped in months) and i know the drugs caused it.

  • @motowater Shut up.

  • sounds much like a DMT experience!

  • this video made me think of a song called fantasy or reality by project 1

  • XD now I c y people say aside is elegal and can be punished with charges to overthrow the govornment

  • dude you have the coolest voice im just replaying this video with beethoven overlapped.

  • Hey i gots a question for ya guys ~ I bought "acid" from this guy and it was a single powder pill. Its white and has orange dots in it and he said it was Lysergic acid. Anyone know what i just bought? And if it will make me trip? Thanks.

  • @jester6241996

bro you must be retarded to buy a pill you don't know what contains. You're obviously not sure if you can trust the guy, so why did you even buy it?

  • Wow we are in our own bubble. I feel like a bubble.

  • 3:13 i disagree. your brain sees the world for what it is. when you trip your brain is going haywire and not processing info correctly. its like saying when your computer has a virus its acting the way it "actually" is and its working in that way that you just couldnt see before.

    still an interesting video tho

  • i know i may sound like a asshole asking this question but i smoke weed and i only have in intrest in getting high, after that being said will LSD make you feel high like weed would or does it just make you think different

  • I know it has been said before , but i guess i doesnt hurt to be said again - this is the best description i have heard so far . Allthou i never tryed lsd yet , but i had a couple of lsa ( MG ) trips so far and i had a glimpse of what you are saying and i completly agree. I belive that a certain mindset along with lsd or any psychedelic experience simply , opens your eyes to the real truth , and then u are beyond a shadow of a doubt , enlightnened, . Your contribution is greatly appreciated man

  • is that Simon cowel ?

  • Why would you want to hide your identity... we are all one identity.. remember?

  • @YeaOrNot that maybe true that were all one identity but tell that to the guy with a gun or knife and see what he says.

  • @sosolidvampire We are all a reflection of eachother.... the only reason he has a gun or a knife is a reflection of what he has learnt to be acceptable from another human and a human before that and another human before that....good or bad is left down to chance more than anything not choice..

  • @YeaOrNot very interesting point you have their....so are u sayin that people that molest children, people that rape women and people who are murderers didnt choose to act on there fantasys and simply thought it would be acceptable to do that because a human being has done that before? please answer.

  • @sosolidvampire Well yeah, but its on a more broad scale than just that...pretty much every decision we make is governed by something we have learnt from another.we are all put into this life and given the tools to live but our surroundings and the choices we make must be learnt.and what we see most of the time from our surroundings is other human beings.so if one human finds it acceptable to kill then it is left to chance whether another human being will, depending on their own life experience

  • OH AND CHUCK US SUM OF YA TABS THEY SOUND INTENSE

  • CUTSICK BRUTHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • So basically what your saying is you dnt give a fuck about anything while your tripping,?

  • @proto1matrix2rail3 he not "basically" saying anything, trips are very complex and that is the reason why people find them so hard to explain.

  • ur gay

  • thank you

  • an excellent video sir!

  • thanks for sharing your video.. i've been yearning to try lsd and my motivation for doing so is founded upon the profound experience you outlined here. after researching the subject for a while, your video reaffirmed my believe that my reasons for wanting to experience an lsd trip are valid ones, so thank you!

  • love LSd wish i could get hold of it. but have done more then 300 tabs and liquid acid in my time. you miss it after a while though

  • i also like it how the camera is focused right up to a bland piece of carpet.

a lot like your eyes during a firm but spectucular dosing.

  • very eloquently put, i find myself trying to guess where you are from and roughly you're age.

im going to go with oxfordshire, 32.

    keep searching.

  • i watched fantasia 2000 on my first lsd trip, and that movie held all the anwsers of life within itself, it was a miraculous event and id travel back again sometime in the future

  • Why is it that you tried LSD in the first place? Your verbal description sounds like you're reading it off a book, paper, what have you; it doesn't sound honest. Also, you use cheesy/cliche quotes, so this ruined the post for me.

  • this is quite a beautiful description

  • I applaud sir.

I get very annoyed with these pre-teens on here and their typical,

"Derp there was purple leprechauns dancing on penguins made of bricks that exploded into rainbow uterus's", as opposed to somebody who is intelligent, describing what actually happened.

I still do not believe that people can have these random trips that mean nothing and are super colorful, and not be liars or incredibly thick-headed.

    High Five.

  • @Weasel1995 fuck man the first time I tripped out I saw three armed people panting like dogs wearing pink sunglasses running around and rastafarians with wings flying around saying things like "blessed" "ey mon" "peace" as they flew by. Im dead serious lol.

  • Thank you for talking so honestly about it!

I've been researching so much about lsd, because it just kinda fascinates me and I'd love to experience it but I wouldn't know where to get it (safely) - people don't understand me, they think I wanna be "badass" or something and I wanna do a lot of heavy drugs. And some even try to warn me and say that I'll think I'm in hell and see demons....how foolish. Just once I want to have the chance to see the world different!

  • @fabfourgroupie exactly bro...if your going to take it make sure you have a close friend near you at all times and also take no more than one hit. you wont feel it at first but it will kick in during time.

  • @fabfourgroupie fools yes it doesent entirely create hallucinations, only enhances what you allready see.

"As a human being, if you want to know the spiritual realm of Buddha, you have to observe, you have to know that everything you see in the world comes from your own mind."

  • @fabfourgroupie lets just put it this way, musicians do a lot of drugs for a reason. i will tell you if you have a lot of demons in your life and you are not right with yourself and you take acid it will haunt you. if you have ever had anxiety where your mind is going crazy fast. lsd can do this in a way you have never experienced before. the best advice i can give you, if you are going to do acid, do it with someone who has done it before, you trust and feel comfortable with.

  • @fabfourgroupie I don`t know whether you`ve tried drugs/hard drugs yet. If you have, I hope it`s going well. But It`s not foolish of people to warn you that things may not go as you would wish.Believe me if you have a real bad trip you really will think you`ve died and gone to Hell.Thumbs up/down don`t matter here.Trust me, if you get it bad one day, that day you`ll know what fear is.It is a million times worse than anything you can possibly imagine. They`re not called The Horrors for no reason.

  • @valarmanwe have you experienced such horrors?

  • @MrBeauJango Hi, Pal. Yes, I have. It was over 30 years ago and, although I got over it years ago, I still pity anyone going through a bad trip. Just the thought of anyone going through one is frightening.

  • @fabfourgroupie ik exactly what u mean bro...they just dont understand

  • That's a dirty carpet.

  • Thanks for this man . As we will never be able to explain a feeling in words, as the only way for us to understand a feeling is to experience it, i would still say you did a very good job . Again thank you .

  • is that a carpet?

  • Many people who try to describe their LSD-trips talk about discovering truth or some kind of deeper understanding of the world, reality and oneself. But none of them explain what it is they learn. WHAT is it that you discover, which you afterwards benefit from? (as this probably is different from person to person - what did you in your case discover? I'm especially interested in the deeper understanding of oneself)

  • @AlbinoPolarBears That is very difficult: it this idea of abstract notions and concepts (such as some parcel of information that is "learned") is exposed for its fallacy and its true inapplicability to the real world when intoxicated with LSD. Therefore, the "thing" that is learned cannot be explained with language, for if it were, it would be inherently going against what LSD teaches us--that language, and these "social constructs" are very limited in their ability to describe what is real.

  • idk wtf omg

  • For a good website which includes experiances and shit is erowid.org

  • I don't deny your experience, it sounds very wonderful. I have become enlightened by a similar experience after taking LSD myself. I think your video is harmful though, you make it sound like it's a wonderful experience as if you were watching a DVD or something like that. Mystic experiences can be very hard for some people to live with you know and it's not really something you should be advocating people have.

  • i want to try it but some want the consequences and iherd it stays in your body forever?

  • this sounds like you were on DMT

  • Sounded like one of the more surreal H.P. Lovecraft stories.

  • I really liked this explanation, you're very wellspoken and describes the psycholigic side rather than flashing lights. Intelligent and very helpful Report, thanks! =)

  • sounds awesome

  • @lawlztastic Sure, but one bad thought can turn the trip into the worst experience of your life.

  • I cant explain what this means to me... you have just shown me reality. Although I have NEVER done lsd I think this is just amazing. You have opened me up to this shadow I have lived in and I think you helped me better the life I live in. I never plan to do lsd but I hope to find this "mystic being" you talk about!

  • How long did it last?

  • probs from 8-10 hours

  • great video

  • I really do not want to be a negative nancy but I really could not watch this video because of your damn monotone voice!

  • this is trippy man

  • lol then that proves my other point that i was ill informed of the sideeffects of lsd and the longterm effects and all the dare people are just using scare tactics to get this info into are minds i'm still not going to do it.

  • idk personally i'm against lsd since it stays in your system for your entire life but i'm very very interested in halluanations i have never done any drugs i'm straight edge but i just get this overwhelming feeling that hey you only live once i should at least experiance halluanations once in this short life.

  • @irishmobster60

your actually very wrong, research it online, youll find lsd actually stays in your body for only about 2-4 days, and is just pissed out, with NOTHING remaining in the body. its one of the safest drugs out there.... just research it and youll find the truth shining out

  • @HLPMaximus its not the safest drug lol thats like a huge lie but yeah its not that bad id say weeds the safest

  • @laxskater49 in terms of what it does to your body, it is. It changes NOTHING in brain chemistry, blood, tissue, anything.... leaves your body in 2-4 days max, with no traces. Even weed changed your brain chemistry, notice how you become much more "chill", and it takes 2 weeks - 2 months to leave the body

  • @laxskater49 the only way LSD can be dangerous is in terms of you being screwed off your face on it to the point where you physically do something dangerous to yourself, aka jump off a building cause you think you can fly, etc, although even those incidents are EXTREMELY rare. if you stay indoors, your pretty much good

  • @HLPMaximus wordd acids bomb man its been a while since that post. people are fucking stupid lsd not dangerous unless your a dumbass

  • @laxskater49 Actually Vitamin C is more harmful on your body than LSD.

  • @HLPMaximus so? it can still happen ive tripped b4 lol i was just saying weeds safer you make lsd sound like the safest drug in the world or sumthin its nt

  • Comment removed

  • your a fucking idiot for saying it should be legal - people think they can fly and jump off buildings - so what you want that to happen ?

  • @ShnuckFuckle uh, if people are that dumb..

    then sure, please jump.

  • Maybe we should ban horse riding or mountain climbing? They both carry risk and are pursued only for the experiences they bring about. Further, there are many things that drive people to suicide: money, marriage, university, work - maybe we should outlaw them also?

If you use fear-based paternalism as your guide for law-making, you would have all our freedoms revoked. If used responsibly, and people take into account their own mental health situation, LSD is very safe.

  • anyone can read a peice of paper

you dont know shit about cid

    english prick

  • wat you on about

  • Thank you so much for this video..you spoke out most of my thoughts about reality meditation and LSD..I hope more people come to appreciate the maturity and depth of your opinions..

  • this is david icke!!!!!

  • Poetry! Thanks for posting this. It means a lot to me and I hope to others.

  • Were spirits dancing all around you? Popping and locking?

  • Are you a scientologist?

  • Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

    Are you just paraphrasing Huxley?

  • Wow LSDZen, I typed up my comments before I watched your video! I just realized the "message" you gave at the end of the video was similar to mines. Talk about parallel thinking!

  • People like to experiment with these psychoactive drugs without knowing the full extent of physical and metaphysical consequences. These drugs open up doorways for communication with extraterrestrial intelligence in other planes of reality, and some of these nonphysical extraterrestrials can attach themselves onto your auric field, making you spin negative thoughts and visions while they feed off your fear.

  • Yes yes this is true my dad warned me about that..

can u explain more about it though?

  • This is an AMAZING Insight too LSD.

  • Good video, awsome description.

Unlike most stories were people take 10-12 hit and see a couple of wavy lines. Acid is way more indepth than that.

Back in 1992, I took 1 tab called a green monster. The tab was a plain sefoam green like the crayola marker.

    I was on planet X!

Imposible to describe. I still don't fully understand what happened, I often think about it.

  • you sound to me that you are reading from a book! this doesent sound like a L.S.D trip

  • lol dude ur voice is awesome

  • Sounds like you have had some very profound and liberating experiences, I've not seen the stuff for years because I live in Scotland unfortunatley, no-one can seem to get it, its just not "popular enough." Which I can see why because psychedelics just aren't drugs in the classic sense. The most profound trips I had were on LSA & Mescaline together and a research chemical I tried called 2C-T-7, very powerful and enlightening stuff. Meditation I'm trying more and more, wish I could find acid tho

  • i medidate atleast once a week, i feel enlightned after the meditation, and more "roaming within my own supernatural being", whilst im actually meditating..

did you understand and analyze what you were seeing and feeling while it was occuring, or only after the high was gone ?

im looking forward to dropping acid this weekend, thank you for one of the most informative videos about LSD on youtube {:

  • your voice is so soothing, ide liek to chat with you buddy !

  • i've been meaning to try lsd

i've done marijuana, psilocybin, MDMA, MDMA + psilocybin, & and alcohol, and other combinations of the above mentioned

i have to say that they can enlighten you and open up your eyes quite a bit

i've definitely learned some life lessons as a result of use

  • this is honestly the best description of an LSD experience i have seen online. i was searching youtube for quite a while to find a video that accurately describes a trip and wasn't filled with the colorful pulsing propaganda people have you believe it is. because it is honestly nothing like those. unless you consume a ridiculous large quantity. but yeah, this is what you need to hear if you yourself want to know what it's like, or show this to people if you can't describe it to someone

  • Thank you for your kind feedback. I am happy this video has been viewed by so many- please share it :)

I agree that attempts to recreate the experience by displaying 'crazy' visualisations is a bit silly- it is not just about what you experience- but the way you relate to that experience that is altered. The only way to really KNOW LSD is to do it.

It is very hard to describe the experience- words and concepts are clumsy.

    Thanks again.

    Gasho

  • @shizzlecake my best high and form of meditating is listening to peaceful music after smoking marijuana....is lsd that strong compared? and would u recommend it for someone?

  • kool hah um do u recoment being super com right wen taking it so u wnt trip out u know ... hmm hw do u knwo sum ones on lsd ??? like can u tell like hw u can tell sumones drunk or somthing??

  • Generally speaking- those who have not done LSD will not be able to work out when another individual is on it. I know what to look for so can sometimes spot it. I have observed that, even though people cannot tell the difference, IF one tells them one is tripping- they will over-react and often cause trouble for the tripper.

  • haha first time i did lsd every time i looked at something a colored blob would appear in front of it then disappear. and when i looked outside the sky changed from pink to red and when i stared at the trees the sky would turn blue and the outlines of the tree would be like white and this poster inside my room flooded green and disappeared for 3 secs haha trippy.

  • I've done ecstasy many times, shrooms 8 times, cocaine 1 time, just tried lsd for the first time 3 days ago and it alleviated my anxiety completely, I feel more comfortable with who I am as a result. It was an incredible sobering experience if that makes any sense, I'm not in denial anymore and I've accepted whatever my fate may be. I would NOT recommend lsd to an unexperienced drug user.

  • how about a person who just has smoked pot?

  • This is very similar to one of my more profound experiences with LSD, I also got the "find me in more conventional means" message. Wish I could find LSD nowadays.

Great video, its refreshing to hear the TRUTH of an experience for once.

  • Coincidence? I think not! :D

  • Hello friend, your words are dearly insightful. It has occurred to be that the majority of people who have experienced a psychedelic have a much more profound understanding on the life we all live. Just about everyone who has attempted to communicate the world after using these substances describe similar bizarre characteristics of the universe. So now i am left wondering why these drugs are so frowned upon by society when they so obviously let us all see reality clearer...

  • It is my opinion that LSD is not banned for the sake of the peoples' interests- but for the interests of those who hold power over the people.

Firstly- our entire economy depends on people failing to see through materialism. Every advert out there is spreading delusion- a chemical that calls those delusions into question must be outlawed to protect the financial interests of companies. If people realised they could find contentment only by renouncing material things- the economy would collapse.

  • Secondly- since LSD may allow one to see that there is no reality behind laws, nor is there reality behind claims of authority and power- this would be an unacceptable loss of control from the perspective of the government/law-makers.

In the 1960's LSD began to empower many thousands of people. Those who want to claim a power "over you" do not want you to be empowered. In the 1960's people started waking up to the obvious- and all of a sudden they didn't want to murder others in greed-wars.

  • It was outlawed for many reasons, primarily the correlation between psychedelic drug use and anti-war

Those who had taken the drug generally speaking advocated peace; understood that war was the result of blind faith, stupid political decisions and militarism (patriotism as we know it)

In 1966 Marijuana among many other mind altering substances were outlawed, lsd was in the same boat

That along with radical claims of insanity, brainwashing etc.

  • Your experience sounds amazing. I intend to use LSD soon, and I have been informing myself and mentally preparing myself for it. Thank you for sharing your experience with everyone, it must have been hard to explain.

  • yeah i tried it first time this year. i had a bad experience.. my friend was joking around scaring me but suddendly things turn dark and scary like when i saw evil dead the film when i was like 8 years old... i freaked and cried... my friend stopped as he didnt realise it would affect me. Still doing tabs tho and now ive overcome that... :)

  • nice carpet

  • How long does a trip usually last? I've heard, 10 hours, 12 hours, even 16 hours. How long did it last for you?

  • It depends. Lasted a good 12 hours for me I tried it last night for the first time. I never laughed so much.

  • The first time I did it- although it would seem that I 'started tripping' after I did LSD to an outsider- it would be more accurate to say that when I did LSD I realised that my whole life had been 'a trip'.

Life is just moment after moment of experience, when we begin our journey we relate to this experience as an unknowable mystery, LSD returned me to that place.

  • ...It was only because I had constructed conceptual knowledge from ineffable experience that I had come to narrow my perspective on reality so much: Lost in thought- as most people currently are.

Perhaps the main effect of LSD is in loosening our fixed ideas about the world and thus removing obstructions that prevent direct perception.

Meditation achieves similar results- with more consistency, safety, and benefit.

Many I have met who are on a spiritual path, however, were put on it by LSD.

  • man you must have been on lsd when you wrote that xD
