I actually study Egyptology, and I can say that most of this is bogus. There are hieroglyphics on the blocks that could not have been put there except by those who built them. The hieroglyphics are usually signatures of the building team. In addition, the hieroglyphics he read were inaccurate. The actual writing he zoomed in on was not even close to what he read. It spoke of giving offerings to Isis.

AFAIK, the pyramid shafts aren't very straight, so the idea that they're meant to point at certain stars is a little stretched. Perhaps they're meant to represent the pharoh's crooked finger pointing at the stars.

I actually study Egyptology, and I can say that most of this is bogus. There are hieroglyphics on the blocks that could not have been put there except by those who built them. The hieroglyphics are usually signatures of the building team. In addition, the hieroglyphics he read were inaccurate. The actual writing he zoomed in on was not even close to what he read. It spoke of giving offerings to Isis.

It seems to me that the Egyptians love to paint life down on these structures. Has anyone viewed anything that looks like the Egyptians building a pyramid or any other structure painted or sculpted on the walls? It would seem to me that an achievement of this magnitude would be painted on every edifice they ever accomplished. I’m not quite sure that an ancient people would or wouldn’t consider something they didn’t understand a symbol of something to worship or not, especially if a leader or holy man told the people to do so; we still do it today. I have heard stories that the only project the Egyptians took on was the white shell that was added over the pyramids at one time. I’m fairly certain that these structures had been ransacked and vandalized since they have been standing and probably are too an extent today
