The record that NO ONE remembers is the 13.13 relay in first attempt of WSSC 09, cuz I was the only one with the footage and they beat it in SOC with 12.72. =P

amazing tribute lawrence! this totally shows how much steven has done to get the world records to where they are now! the music totally fits the video, and it helps set a ton of drama to it too.

and also, steven is still able to get a world record. its just that he doesnt really stack a lot anymore. maybe if he were to practice a little more than he does now, like once or twice a week if he can or wants to, then i think that he could get a world record for sure.

I remember sitting through (while not being in many tournies with him) and hearing the news of how Steven Purugannan had beaten the world record... again. Over and over again.

This video really showed how consistent he was and how unbeatable and how legendary he was. He was so untouchable for so long, and it seems weird to me to see so many people hit times under 6, when in most of his reign it was thought of to be impossible to hit.

The edit at 1:20 is perfect, btw.

its true though. his luck is fading. but its amazing in how much he's improved in just a few months. 2007 worlds sport stacking championships, he had 8s and no sevens. towards the end of 2007, he had 7s and 6s. wow. thats just amazing. even though his luck is fading, he'll always be remembered as the greatest stackers in history. best tribute so far lawrence REALLY good job!!! it made me cry =D theres a lot of tributes to steven out there, but this one really stands out the most.
