There is no need to replace the currency with another replacement currency, since money no longer has gold backing. To devalue the currency 40%, all they have to do is print 40% more money, and this administration has been printing like crazy. Just google for a chart of the supply of money.

I was one of the fools who paid $100 two years ago for his 3 dvds. He didn't say ANYTHING. No I'm not talking about price deflation. I'm talking about austerity economics which Ron Paul seems to want for America. Spending cuts and deficit reductions do not work. The current credit crunch is a result of the rapid reduction of the money supply. Austerity measures would make the situation worse. Nationalize the central bank and use it to increase money supply by spending on nation building projects. Don't vote Ron Paul. He is a good man but he has no idea what he is talking about.

Currency devaluation is not as bad as it sounds. It's deflationary/Austrian economics that is the danger. Ron Paul has to see this or he will unintentionally hurt more people than Obama.

@tanoxbelata There is no deflation. Prices are rising across the board. Do you buy food? The only "deflation" was the collapse of a bloated housing market, which was simply an inevitable correction. A currency devaluation will drive prices up *much* faster than they are already rising. It will be catastrophic.

I believe he is possibly deceived. But one thing that stands out... as a Christian, he is doing something with the "I told you so"... which is boasting, which is not "Christian" and goes against what God commands, so it throws up a red flag for me.
