(by the way I use the Skythe Mugen-2 the idle temperture is 35C with a fan of 120 cm. I use a case brand "Chieftec" BH-01B-B-B it's cool as an icecube). Mugen-2 is a monster of a heatsink but it's the best for lowering the tempertures especially on AMDs.

i also use the mugen2 and my temps are 37 on a q6600 with a fan which i bought for €3.99 lol but it works =D

All these coolers which have the fan as a part of them cause problems when the fan mulfanctions so you throw away all of the cooling system because of the fan. The best is to choose a Thermalright, or a Noctua, a Scythe anyway, try a solution which the heatsing is separated from the fan. As for the CPU, I have an Athlon 64 X2 at 3GHz and it performs excellent only at a price of 65 euros. Choosing a good ASUS mobo and some 2-4 ATI cards will be ok for games like Crysis. See Asus M3A32 MVP Deluxe.

wow, it's so fucking true, i tested my 4 gigs of DDR2 RAM ( regular RAM ) with my friends 4 gigs of DDR2 RAM from N-Vidia. its just the name. it had same speeds ( 1,156 MH ) and same memory ( 4,085 MB ). i think it just cost more for the name, for exampel like a lamborghini, if you have a car faster or better, the lambo is just going to be more for the name.

The 8800GT is as good as 8800GTX if not better because it runs on the new technology.Get two 8800GT's and you wont need 750w psu or that ram. and they only take up 1 pci slot not two. u have no chance with the 8800 GTS with 320 MB. The 640 MB beats the 8800 GT in a way: Play in Higher Resolution, and u will see, that the 8800 GTS is faster than a 8800 GT on the resolution.

Do some research and you'll see PCIE2.0 does not boost anything compared to PCIEx16, it's only theoretical bandwith - 256-bit is old and is getting standardized again and will not run faster on a Gen.2 PCIE. And no, you did NOT play Crysis on High Settings on 4xAA even - and not on max resolution. 8800GT does not perform that good in Crysis, especially when it looks suckier with the cheap .04 driver from Nvidia that messes with the shaders.
