I like to teach my students the three count beat for hand to hand.

In other words:

|:B B S:| or |:S S B:| with alternating Left and Right hands in a steady 3/4. (B = bass, S = Slap)

Could you pm me some more about this? I just bought a cajon and love the sounds I'm getting, but I need to learn this hand to hand. Man, I was a drum set player for 20 years. But, I'm having a tuff time with this bad boy!
