My Fandom of the band could be called An OBSESSION. I give all their guitarists credit, the songs are masterful Tour De Forces, and few bands have come this close to glory that eluded them. It's a crime against good music
it must be great to have just discovered ufo.....lots of albims packed full of wonderful tracks.......i agree with all the comments here....they are a top top band
@Videomakerpro They don't play them on USA Radio any longer, I even took time to call in and request, but never heard them play it. Everyone's friggin DAFT!!
Obsession album, what a fantastic album. ive just listened to the WHOLE album in order thanks to your videos. my journey is over but it has only just be begun...damn that was cheesy!
5 Stars and subscribe (if i havent already)
thanks bro for one of the best 35 minutes of life!
I definately agree with your comment, the longest solos are the one from Rock Bottom (SITN) version & Lost Horizon (One night at Budokan) that second solo is just a mindblower for sure!
oh hell yes!...still to this day nothing can compare to those performances....they are frozen in time and continue to transcend all shandows of doubt.
someone said this is michaels best recorded solo....well im here to tell you this can only be a favorite of someone...the legend has way too many recordings with masterpiece solos on them. although on this particular piece he managed to obtain that live tone on his gibson....this is way up on the MS food chain as leads go though thats for damn sure.
Great solo from Schenker on this one, true mastery on the six string. Really like the use of the Wah pedal for the rythym tracks throughout this album. I've owned 3 copies of this on vinyl over the years and just recently purchased the 4th copy. For me, this is my all time favorite UFO release. Thanks for posting this one Axe !!

Clapton was great with cream...Hendrix, well good thing he dies cause he was running empty on his genius...Jimmy Page was stuck and never evolve in his style...Schenker continues to evolve and offered something new in the 70's and 80's and he was unbeatable with his flying V and his 50 watt Marshall.

Obsession, if you look at the body of the
bands work. you can see the direction of the band in Phil Mogg's eye's straight comerciality. Michael wanted to continue
rocking. this music is mainstream.

Just One of the many Schenker Solo's that shows his true essence of melody and tunefullness. No other has his feel for melody or does it better.
