it's got a rifled barrel for accuracy, no need to use BBs. You'd be losing both power and accuracy.

Yes, it's legal in the UK. Sub 6ft lb pistols are permitted. Brocock TAC style pistols are no longer legal.

@MyClaymate Think again. Back in 1990 when I was a pup, I had a fully-charged Crosman 357six (same model as this, same power) and I tried to take a fox squirrel with it. To make a long story short, I got repeated head shots in on the squirrel, but only succeeded in exploding of his eyeballs and having the poor little bastard escape (and most likely die in agony.) I still feel like shit when I think about it.

This gun is loads of fun for plinking and target practice... but NOT for hunting!!!

i killed a giant possum with this gun one shot to the neck hit the floor dead almost instantly.....im just so suprised i must have hit something vital in the neck it didnt even twitch when i shot it......i shot a squirrel,like 15 rats,and a couple of bad birds....make sure you are always from 5 feet or closer to kill a small game without making it suffer:)

Something he failed to mention is that the discharge of an air gun in city limits in many cities is illegal including in your back yard and can result in a criminal charge. Check with your city first.

I have the older version Crosman 357 and the only place I can use it is at a gun range. Also went transporting it DON'T have it on the front seat of your car or you will find a real gun in your face as I did.

If you get the right ammo for it (I would reccomend RWS Superpoint, more expensive, but goes through bone if shot right) and use a red dot sight unless your a good shot, you could easily take out small game from a few meters away. Too far, and it will either make the animal suffer, or miss completely. If your intent on JUST hunting, Id suggest an air rifle, most likely a Gamo.

Looks and distance-wise(435 fps) this gun is great,however,when compared 2 the more expensive Smith & Wesson 586/686 co2 revolvers it sounds rather toy-like.Nonetheless it would stop me from buying one and adding both a dovetail rail and 3/8 red dot scope 2 it.

@mom00487 its a pellet gun. if you may get mugged by a squirrel or small bird, yes. but all sarcasm aside, if your aiming to kill, go for a 357 magnum (colt python is my fav) stopping power, not as much recoil as a 44, and its just an all around great gun. if your looking for something with less recoil, and something just to injure em, get a 22 or a 22 magnum. your name is 'mom', so i assume your a woman? definately the 357. i bought my girl one for 500. try this link, little gun, big power.

the gun in this vid is just a toy for kids, but the 357 its supposed to look like is a monster. and if you think you can handle the recoil (wether your male or female) try the 44 magnum. thats what i carry with my CWP (concealed weapons permit). the 44 recoils (kicks) alot more than the 357, but the 44 has a massive amount of stopping power. my all time favorite firearm.

And also they provide protection from wind, bugs, ect. that may disturb you as you are shooting and end up shooting a person on acident! lol Good Question

I have been shooting for a number of years, and it is a great looking gun, but performance wise it is rather poor.

I would recommend saving up your money instead and getting a Weihrauch.

The gun is only £50 brand new, that should really tell you that if its that cheep it is going to lack quality in areas, they are also prone to the gas rubber seal's breaking often.
