Thanks brother I was looking for this song it ispired me since I heard it and its a great worship to the lord I will sing it with the worshipers at my church here in Puerto Rico I wrote that so you know that God used you to get with this video to places you never knew it would reach. God Bless you my friend and keep up the worship for the lord and leaving that wonderfull talent that God gave you in his hands for the glory of his name. Im a worship leader my self in my church. thanks for sharing.
@payasomanganzon Wow, thanks a lot for sharing that brother. What a blessed to hear how God is using my channel for His kingdom work. It is my prayer that He do so because without God it's all useless. Just awesome, let me know if I could ever help with anything that's drumming. Good to hear from Puerto Rico, I grew up in New York and knew many folks from PR.

Could you explain what you're doing exactly at 1:58? I can't seem to master that fill exactly, but I love it. This is what I observe, correct me if I'm wrong:
_SST, SST_, SSC_
(S-Snare, T-Tom, C-Crash, _-Break) Please help a fledgling drummer :)
@DVShine That is correct, it is a reference to a passage of Scripture found in the book of Job in chapter 1, verse 21 (Job 1:21) in the Bible. The teaching being that God knows what's best for us, so He gives to us and He takes from us what is best for us. “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart.
The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.”
Wow man. That was absolutley fantastic! I have to play this on Sunday at my church, so I was looking for some inspiration on good ways to play this..... I definitely have found some inspiration in this! :) well done and god bless!
@johnny4014 Not sure what you mean by the "same thing". Each section of the song has a different feel and orchestration. I did beef up the groove a bit more than the original and added a 6 over 4 polyrhythm on the cymbal in the next to the last chorus. No, I won't be "working on it" anymore, that's it, it's done and out there, though I will be playing it in upcoming church services. Thanks for watching.
Wow Man. That was really awesome. I've gotta play this tomorrow at church and this is the best quality video as well as the best playing of this song I've seen. Great job good sir and God bless ya.
@DrummerJohn100 You're welcome, glad that you appreciate it. I like to cover the songs I played in church service the Sunday before, might as well since I've already learned it, just play it w/the camera on. It's a blessing that many drummers in the service of our Lord use these videos as tutorials. Thanks for watching & subscribing.
great!!! God bless you!
