  • Bloomberg - "100,000 tons of human excrement that Indians leave each day in fields of potatoes, carrots and spinach, on banks that line rivers used for drinking and bathing and along roads jammed with scooters, trucks and pedestrians.

    ...

India is struggling with a sanitation emergency. From the stream in Devis village to the nations holiest river, the Ganges, 75 percent of the countrys surface water is contaminated by human and agricultural waste and industrial effluent."

  • The U.S. is not legally required to issue or extend a single H-1B visa. The USCIS states that H-1B visas are a 3 year visa (total stay limited to 6 years) for temporary, nonimmigrant workers. These workers are to fill specialty positions when this talent cannot be secured from the local labor pool. Employers are not required to advertise the positions and are given a legal means to discriminate against U.S. workers. Right now, we should not issue and not renew another H-1B visa.

  • 4/2/2009 (AP) "American workers stay longer in the office, at the factory or on the farm than their counterparts in Europe and most other rich nations, and they produce more per person over the year.

They also get more done per hour than everyone but the Norwegians, according to a U.N. report released Monday, which said the United States "leads the world in labor productivity."

  • If someone else is available to do the same job for less, why pay more? BECAUSE a nation full of poor minimum wage earners is NOT the way to have a good economy. Paying people MORE gives them more money to spend which improves the economy. What good is cheap labor if, in the process, you supply enemy countries with the money they need to build up their militaries and attack you? Your 'balance sheet' isn't going to save you then, is it?

  • Times of India

"Indian chefs welcome but no IT workers, says UK panel

    9 Sep 2008, 1709 hrs IST,PTI

LONDON: Indian chefs will be allowed to work in Britain's multi-million pound Indian restaurant industry but Indian IT workers are no longer required here, a key government committee on immigration here said on Tuesday."

  • Where is the Indian OS?

  • "(02-11) 18:38 PST Santa Ana, Calif. (AP) --

A Chinese-American aerospace engineer who worked in Southern California for decades was brought to federal court in shackles Monday after being charged with stealing trade secrets on the space shuttle, the C-17 military transport and the Delta IV rocket to pass on to China."

  • There's nothing any of us can do about it. There's simply too much money involved here and we can't win against the majority of corporations. Futhermore, we can't go to our officials because they are in office because the corporations put up the money for their campaign. Think about it folks. There's nothing we can do LOL.

  • That's right! Google: The Paleo Conservatist

    They talk about this!

  • I remember back in the early '80s when Bill Gates used to use the phrase "...random..." to put down people who's ideas he didn't like. Seems like "random" is cool now. ROTFL!

  • What the video does not mention is that a H-1B visa requires a BS degree at a minimum. Only 27% of the US population have a BS or higher. Many H-1B holders have a only a few years of experience after, in most cases, graduating from a US university. Since the visa is time limited they will either exit the US after the visa expires or become permanent residents. This means that they will likely only spend their first part of their career with a H-1B visa.

  • When I put myself through college as a waitress it was common knowledge that Indians didn't tip. I suspect Indians share company information with Jews. Knowing when to buy and dump stocks. Money buys support for Israel. It is all tied together. Two selfish groups who only think about their own interests at the expense of others.

Does legal mean it is right? Germany made killing Jews legal, was that right? They thought Jews were bad for the German enocomy, imagine that?

  • I don't know what needs to be done. It seems like rich people keep making loopholes to any law that is passed so it's hard to stop the invasion.

  • Time for new government system. One that doesn't cater to the rich perhaps?

  • This info needs to get out more. There is a ski resort locally that hires MAINLY from overseas. Why? Because they can. NOT because there aren't workers here.

  • ALL AMERICANS AGAINST H1B TAKE THIS:

Your global companies sell products globally causing loss of local businesses and jobs. then these companies pay tax in usa and you enjoy that tax. Don't you. so you want globalization go one way only for your benefit but dont want it to come towards you...grow up and think balanced....

  • I want Americans to be able to work. Why would ANY NATION much less one that has such a large percentage that needs work, just hand their jobs over to another country to work for lesser wages while our own people can't find work. If you want a job, and you want to go overseas to work, you should ONLY get that job if there are no qualified nationals asking for it. You shouldn't be allowed to use loopholes like this details to get around hiring those citizens that NEED these jobs.

  • Because that is how capitalism works. If someone else is available to do the same job for less, why pay more? Patriotism doesn't have a section in the balance sheet. And need as you put it is a relative term. American Companies need to usurp

every other company in the world and set up monopolies. What goes around must eventually come around.

  • You're lacking emotional insight. And you're wrong if you think foreign companies pay their fair share of taxes in the US. They have their loopholes.

Insight? None. If Americans didn't create the computer industry, then they have nothing to complain about. But if they did, and non-tech lawyers and CEOs move the work away from them. That is betrayal, worse war.
