@hawklanzs wrong Lucifer is a CREATED being. Orignally and Arch Angel of GOD. He wanted to be 'like GOD'. He wants to be worshiped like God. He hates Adam and Eve. He hates them because God wanted Satan to bow to them and Satan refused. Thus God cast him out.

@adomede I'm one of those idiots that hates religion, but, i think that man is not perfect, and man does become subject of evil at some point. I think pure eternal love came in the flesh, and man could not handle it, and killed this sinless man. I think the debt of sin is death. And i think this man paid a price, through unconditional love, that even though we are not perfect, should we accept him, then evil will never have a hold over us, even during our imperfections, and into eternity.

@hawklanzs wrong. Lucifer sided with Satan, for what reasons, I do not know; Satan is a demon, Lucifer is an angel. God mat or may not exist, if he does, He is not GOD, his name is simply god. Religion was only created to help Lucifer and Satan gain control of what they claimed as their own. You're really in trouble if you're going to believe in any religious crap. Also, I am not saying Satan or Lucifer are good. But I'm not saying God is either.

I think when he said "some shalt prevail against thee, some thou shalt destroy", he meant that the believers, the Christians, would prevail against Satan, but the nonbelievers, blind people, Atheists, would be destroyed by Satan.
