He's a real breath of fresh air...just so talented and it's nice that he pursues his own thing and doesn't crank out "radio friendly unit shifters"...
Wow, to bad thay didn't show Ryan and Neil Finn in the studio at the same time. Wow, two of the most fabulous, deep songwritiers/lyricists/poets of all time.
simply one of the greatest! DRA is the shizzznit!! please come by my CHANNEL and listen to me sing his song "call me on your way back home" i really hope i do it justice because ryan is in a league all his own. peace and love ~ christopher blake (louisiana singer/songwriter)
It's a 'crime against humanity' to cut that song off. This song and 'I Taught Myself How to Grow Old' gives me the chills. I can't stop listening to them both. I really hope his 'hearing issues' don't slow this master artist down. For his sake and ours. Thank you Ryan Adams
i met ryan, well made him meet me by barging out of a pub to introduce myself,he was accomodating but ungiving, dont hold it against him but the further west he goes on the planet, the more recluse he seems...judging a lot my this interview..either way....an artist will always be!!! and he is!!! hail!!!!!!!!!EJW.
@oddsource I think that is more a cause of drugs you know heroin and coke and whisky most people have a reclusive fearful attitude for 5 or 6 years it destros the brain man
I love his music, one of the most talented writers of our time. His Gold CD is probably one of the best CD's of all time AND Heartbreaker, every time I listen, it brings me something different to light.
@JamesD567 Oh James- do you remember when you wanted to give oral sex to Charles, and he told you he was not interested because of your extreme political views. That was hilarious.
I am not a fan on his ... the Cardinals last two records. I mean I like them but I feel like they are the worst of his work. When I heard "Fix It" for the first time I thought it was "eehhh." After listening to him perform it by himself I realized it is not him or the songs themselves—it is the Cardinals.
Anyone hear Neil Young?

Great to hear him no matter where or how. Truly one of the most talented people and yet so humble.

Why hasn't this man won a Grammy yet?! I loved this interview of him. He just seems so kind, and he's one of the best songwriters, in my opinion.

this interview is awkward because of how ryan's sitting and the interviewer is standing and ryan is looking up at him the whole time

Is he gay? He definately comes across that way.
JamesD567 2 years ago
No, but a little bit more in touch with his feminine side than say, Toby Keith.

@txtodd70 He's having sex with Mandy Moore, are you having sex with Mandy Moore? lol
TylerMaple3009 11 months ago
Nah, theres a lot of people like that... me for example. More in touch with our feminine side? Maybe, maybe. But not gay.

wait so you think the reason you haven't liked the last two records is because of The Cardinals??
Cold Roses and Jacksonville City Nights both had The Cardinals and were some his best work.

I really like this interviewer. I question the edits, but I think he's a really good interviewer. This song that Ryan sings is beyond amazing.
