  • bought one of these this morning, stupidly impressed, video doesnt do the detailing justice but great video

  • An American engine sound within a British-used loco. I mark - BRITISH-USED, 66s are American build.

    And not only British-used ;)

  • @peteru18 Canadian built actually, used in some European countries including the UK

  • Very nice!! 5*!

  • ah, the classical66 sound!

  • cool layout

  • looks like i may get an ews 66 sound chip loco as they sound cool

  • Just Another shed!

  • Have you not installed a speed restrictor in your trains to stop you pulling away from stations and sidings too fast? If you want them to perform reallisticly with sound you may aswell make their movements as real as possible. Thats what my dad and i did with my brothers trains, even if he turns the controller right up they still only speed up gradually

  • boring

  • 66 4 ever

  • great sound

  • and r ur locos hav xtra weight in them 2 make them heaver so they cn pull heavy trains....???

  • did u do the lights ur self.....???

  • Sounds horrible... just like the real thing! Very accurate but not sure I'd sound chip a 66 myself... prefer silence!

  • can i make any class 66 loco have sound and where can i get a sound chip from.

  • May i know how much is it with the sound module? Thanks.

  • its about £150-180

  • not critising bachmanns 66, but why do the sounds when moving sound the same as the 66 on trainz?

  • its a probem with the speaker

  • I think its his microphone on his camera being close to the train

  • Where can I buy an HO one that ships to the USA???

  • mehano produce a HO model i think, but it wont be in a UK livery. they do a dcc sound model

  • Mehano huh? Hmmmm. Thanks. Will look into it. Doesn't matter what livery it is in. Loco is nice in any livery.

  • your layout looks so real i was looking at the vids pic on a nother vid and i thought it was real lol

  • @A10PANG also 00 works on HO tracks

  • @itgamer100 Thanks.

  • bachmann chip, i bought 66022, but decided i liked the DRS livery better so now 66022 has no chip.

  • Cool vid, I personally like english locos (Brush, English Electric)in model form. Bachmann made a good choice releasing the 66 it's by far better then the Lima/Hornby thing. Did you use the bachmann chip or SWD. I can't what for the Class 47, 37, 24, 25 to be released.

  • i would say yes it is quite loud, not so loud as you can hear it all over the house, probably not even in the next room (well maybe the horn can be heard)

  • The volume on the 66 was too loud for me - I halved the volume! YOu could hear it all over the house, and it's not a little house either! And the loudness doesn't sit well with the 66 for, they seem to get on with business without much fuss, and are fairly quite locos.

English Electric locos are another though!

  • hey there nice sound you got on that class 66!!!

  • hey there, no i initially purchased 66022 which came with sound and the 66407 seperate.... But as i preferred this model and livery i removed the sound from 66022 and placed it in this one.

  • does the loco come with sound chip if not were did you get it from + what make is the sound chip

  • If you have any questions about this video or the locomotive itself please do not hesitate to leave a comment below
