I wouldn't go see the damn Smurfs even if I weren't a CIF subscriber, LOL. That said, it sucks that Hollywood apparently doesn't want to invest in a movie unless the characters exist elsewhere already. That's why were getting so many crappy remakes in the theaters. Including the over-saturation of super hero movies as of late. That's the reason they do not get my money - haven't been to a theater in at least 3 years. Burn Hollywood Burn!

PLEASE keep going. I'm boycotting smurfs for you, and asking those around me to do the same. Hollywood needs to learn that the public doesn't want rehashed, shitty remakes of our childhood. What will our children have to grow up with that's GOOD, that they can uniquely call their own? I don't know, and that scares me that we seem to now be teaching our children to redo old ideas rather than come up with new ones. I love you CIF guy! KEEP FIGHTING! I love you <3

I actually made that shirt "SMURFS SUCK" for my cafepress site, but when the Smurf Movie came around, someone had it removed.  Sucks. Hope it wasn't a Smurf. Perhaps I shall make a "SNURFS SUCK" t-shirt.

Hahaha - the scene where 'all you saw was blue' will have more laughs in it than the entire smurf movie. Just from watching these confessions man, you can tell you have amazing comic timing and just understand the medium more than most of the people in power in Hollywood. I genuinely hope you get to make this movie dude.
