@guitarzz24 Hi, I know Bill from Hare Field, Holland Landing, Last time I saw and talked with Bill was at Walmart in Newmarket. Do you know how I can get a hold of him?
While many skydivers have performed this stunt (some can be seen on this site), you are probably one of if not the first to ever do so. It looks like you were getting low by the time you successfully docked with the other skydiver who had the parachute. I bet that really tested your nerves of steel! A belated congratulations on your success with this jump!
Doug: I apologize for not answering your posting before this, but After posting onto the youtube, I seldom ever went to look at it. I also forgot my password and had difficulty in getting it again.
As for the chuteless jump on the acreen, it was my 2nd one, done july 20 1972.My log book ( which I filled out less than 30 minutes after the jump) says I had the chute when I was at 6000 ft, and opened it at 3000 ft,
On the 'Pucker Factor' scale of 1 to 10...that's a 99 !

That jump was my 436th jump. The jump was made on August 20th 1969, and it will be 40 years since...this August 20th 2009.
My, how time flies.
