The mothership is a support unit, it's not meant to fight. It's purpose is to make it easier for attack units to neutralize the enemy even in when in disadvantage. Ex. With vortex you can fight an army one part at a time and it clocks your units, making them invisible for a great deal of the fight. Thanks to its huge life odds are you will destroy the opponent's army before they kill your mothership.

@qwertyaderp mothership isnt there to fights, its there to cloak units(which trust me if you can get ride of there detection it is so so good, you can teleport units across the map, which is unreal, it can use vortex, which can be great. the mothership is a good units, its just not an attacking one

@qwertyaderp first off speed is been boost, they are going to be 4 and a half times faster soon , also ive used dts in my main army vs both prot and terrian, i did they by destroying there detection first. this works well and even pros have done it, the same can be done(even easyer) with the mothership. mothership are good if you use them right(vortex can nullifie half a army easily , and that can mean winning a battle you other wise wouldnt have done, personally its won me a game or 2 before)

@messi996 thats acceleration thats being boosted. mothership is a huge target and easy to kill so thay can easily uncloak your units. plus your ship has to be over the units it wants to cloak so you cant hide it in the back as best you want. if you vortex thats easy to get away from. you just put the rest of your units in so they dont get fucked. i would say the mothership would only be good for escapes or mass recalls in their base.

@BattlefieldPictures gateways build units just like a barracks, the unit takes some amount of time to build, and then pops out of they gateway. Warp gates warp in units and it only takes a few seconds, but they then have a cooldown that I believe is ten seconds shorter than the build time of the unit. Also, units can be warped in to any power field generated by a pylon or warp prism, for instant reinforcements anywhere on the map you have a power field.

Can someone tell me the difference between gateway & warp gates? and difference between making gateway units and making em in warpgates or 'warping' them in? and is there any reason not to make gateways warpgates? (never played but watch tons of SC2 videos)

@BattlefieldPictures the only downside with warp gates is that when a unit is being warped in it is quite vulnerable and can die before it is finished warping in, whereas with gateways the units are ready to fight the instant they spawn, warp gates also need a little more macro since you cant cue up a series of units like a gateway. its a rather minor downside considering how useful warp gates are offensively (proxy pylons or warp prisms) and defensively (reinforcing an expansion across the map)

I really like you how you commentary all your Protoss (especially when you call some of the Protoss units "cute". lol).

The Vortex ability (Mothership) kinda reminds me of Warcaft 3 DotA with Harbinger's Astral Imprisonment ability (without the side effects), only it works on everyone and in an AOE (plz no comments about this).

People are right: Where is the Archon???? I know you have to put two high templars together but what does it do? If you can't, that's fine like oIIBLACKOUTIIo said. ^^

You forgot to mention the hallucination differences. Lower units usually spawn more hallucinations, while larger units spawn less.

The immortal makes and attack that does over X amount of damage deal 5(I think) damage.

The Phoenix's graviton beam ability makes the lifted unit be targeted as an air unit, but not a ground unit.

Oh, he demonstrated in the video, storm does hurt your own troops. Still the damage seems almost instantaneous, not drawn out over 2 - 3 seconds like in SC1.
