Okay them giving her an oxygen mask was over the top. It was a normal "fainting spell" which granted is lack of oxygen to the brain, but she was obviously conscious which means that her lungs were back to breathing on their own and an oxygen mask was not needed. Only on TV folks!

That's one of the rules every EMT learns in Basic class: DO NOT DENY ANYONE O2; its constantly rammed into our head. You don't know if she was experiencing shortness of breath or not.
