I may be against violence, but I wanted to break Ronald Taylor's legs. I think this mission alone is better than the overall plot of the entire franchise. It's filled with so many heavy emotions, and you can't help but regret every time you kill a hunter. And the confrontation....Ronald Taylor was lucky his son didn't end up like Jack.
Gotta feel sorry for the Hunters. Years of neural decay courtesy of Ronald Taylor, and they end up getting gunned down by the guys who rescue the rest of the crew.
One thing I can say about Jacob's Loyalty Mission is: "I can relate to that!"
I mean, my mom was a heartless a**hole to me too, & one example (out of a couple of other reasons) is that she doesn't tolerate mistakes. I mean, when I had Spanish homework & if I did even 1 small typo, I have to do the sh** all over again!
I fucking love mass effect 2 .. the team mates you get are so bad ass .. i always choose the krogan because i have a 25 percent health upgrade for him ... and i choose talia i think her name is ... because she can do the pull move that flys the dudes in the air and then i can do a throw and just bink them off into the universe LOL !!!! this game never gets old if you do beat it once you can go back thru and play as a different class !
This loyalty missions has major plot holes. The enemies drop thermal clips and Jacob's father is using LOKI and YMIR mechs, both of which were created two years ago, making it impossible for them to have either of those because they went missing ten years ago.
I'm sure Jacob himself mentions both thermal clips and mechs have been in production for over 10 years, but only been mass produced everywhere for the last 2 years after the geth attack, either way everyone knows its a crappy coverup, the real reason is it makes combat more fun, go with it, it's a game.
