kooooks this wave sucks anyway who gives a fuck. unless your name is noah erickson, nick rozsa, fred V or dane reynolds you should never surf this spot. Stay chillin in malibu with your dads boyfriend
@qwerty16661 Not. That break was never surfed in Bank Write's era. Shows how screwed things have become in California. My advice to all California surfers north of Santa Monica - get the hell out of there. Go to the Southern Hemi. Will be an earthquake and tsunami soon off California. G-d's not happy.
@qwerty16661 Holy shit You are the most fucking retarded person to think thats lowers. Fuck. Your an idiot. it looks nothing like lowers and also Lowers is a point break you FUCKTARD.
I'm kind off surprised at the vibe over this spot.....but not really. The real secret of the area is in the canyons above this spot....Sycamore is just gorgeous...but deadly dangerous rattlesnakes are everywhere in springtime.Relatively unknown (and traveled)before '72....
you have no idea who your talking to either my friend...the internet is a blinding place....i bet your an alright kid....but why give directions to a surf spot?
no one watching the video here on the internet has enough balls to surf the place when its on, including myself. and even if they did, you need a monster swell that we get way too few of in california to make the place break good. its no secret where it is
Sure there were great surfers that had legal access over the land but most were spoiled punks that had a rich mom and dad that owned land there and they were full of hate for the real surfers that took there boats up there to access the spots.
It's like the famous hollister ranch that the locals try to protect. Everyone knows that you can camp and launch your boat from Gaviota State beach park. You just go up the coast from there to some really fine surf. The "surfing California" book was always carried in my car when me and my buddies would cruise the coast over 20 years ago. I always got a laugh at some of the local rich trash punks that thought they owned the waves at the ranch.
Definitely not a secret spot. I surfed there before Bank Wright ever wrote about it, which is to say I checked it almost every day and caught it, maybe, 3 or 4 times a year.
average surfer has no idea what tide and swell direction and size to check this spot at. let em waste gas all year long doubt they'll ever see it rideable.
Son, you may be a ripper and young in your ways. The fact is, nothing in socal is a secret. Everyone knows everything about this stretch of coast. Don't act like they don't. Look up a book called "surfing california" by Bank Wright. It was written in 1973 and talks about this spot. I expose nothing.
Exactly. Supertubes was featured in a film I saw on Fuel TV the other night. Everyone knows about it. I laugh when people even refer to the point at Latigo Shores as the "Secret L Spot." Dude, I can see it from my car, along with a million other people who drive PCH everyday.
