What I love about the velodrome is the location. I hate the current trend to put new stadiums in the middle of nowhere.

What's your opinion about Lille's stadium? Will they be able to fill it?

@Hannoi you got it, i used to go to the velodrome and few people sit down during matches ! they thought moving it but fans strongly refused, so they now plan to enlarge it, completing terraces and roof.

lyon was forced to move his stadium into a nearby village, because of residents protests :/

the 'grand stade' de lille will be a real jewel, with 55000 places (work in progress : grand.stade.losc.over-blog.co m)

nice new stadiums also to come in bordeaux or nice :)

@Hannoi i agree that dortmund is a great club and that it is worth being there than in most of clubs in ligue 1 or in bundesliga... but i still think lyon or even marseille are bigger guns and play a level higher.

keep an eye on ligue 1, since they will organize euro 2016, most of stadiums will be renoved or rebuilt like bundesliga did in 2006 and i'm sure results will also follow :)
