That's the bluest sky I've ever seen while snowing at night. Apparently whomever did the lighting has never seen it snow at night. Snow needs clouds, clouds are white. White snow plus incandescent lighting gives off a nice warm orange glow, not blue. Blue comes from the moon, if there is a moon then there cannot be snow. Just poor lighting ruins what could have been a great shot.
Great observation, though it's actually not the lighting, it's the particle system. Most folks see that particular scene as a dramatic shot, which often times doesn't reflect reality.
