you guys have an idea of graffiti in France which doesn't fit with reality. Very few people consider writters as artists. And this kind of nice dudes from nice families and everything you can see here might represent half of the graffiti population in Paris. The rest is pure vandalism, destruction, and violence, representing their names. I do think graffiti there is more violent than in NY. Maybe not today, but still, 25 or 10 years ago in Paris a lot of these crews turned like real outfit...
JONEONE is a legend in NY. He repped my block 156. He took it global cause he wasnt appreciated in NY. He hit all 5 boroughs so hard police had him on watch. Let him make his money - he earned it.
when that french art cunt came on talking about "the energy of the street" i nearly puked. there is NOTHING in the world you can paint and stick in a gallery which will mean the same to me, or other writers. REAL writers, who live to do this, in and on the place where it belongs: PUBLIC FUCKIN SPACE.
this is artwork, not graffilth, like in New York,or any other US city, hate in paint is just plain trash, and the creators should be made scrub with tooth brushes and soap to remove it,in public view and on live video feed on the news while wearing pink clothes and head bands.
Peoples trashing "your" city is the same who sales canvas for lot of money in graffity gallery, they offer it to you for free, actually they risk a lot for doing that, try to be a little less ignorant and open your mind fool..
